Premiering today is the Paramount+ original series Fatal Attraction developed by Alexandra Cunningham and starring Joshua Jackson, Lizzy Caplan, Amanda Peet, Toby Huss, Brian Goodman, Alyssa Jirrels and Reno Wilson. The show’s original music is composed by Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Velma, End of the Road, Music, The Last Survivors). The thriller, which is based on Adrian Lyne’s 80s hit movie of the same title, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.

Also premiering today is the British limited series Tom Jones written by Gwyneth Hughes based on Henry Fielding’s novel The History of Tom Jones, A Foundling and starring Solly McLeod, Sophie Wilde, Hannah Waddingham, Shirley Henderson, James Fleet, Felicity Montagu, Alun Armstrong, James Wilbraham, Pearl Mackie and Tamzin Merchant. Matthew Slater (Grace, Endeavour) has composed the show’s original music. Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, End of the Road, Music, The Last Survivors, Scandalous: The True Story of the National Enquirer) is the composer of the upcoming HBO Max animated series Velma. The show is developed by Mindy Kaling & Charlie Grandy (The Mindy Project, The Sex Lives of College Girls) based on characters from the Scooby-Doo franchise and stars Kaling herself as the voice of the title character, Constance Wu as Daphne, Glenn Howerton as Fred and Sam Richardson as Shaggy. The adult animated comedy tells the origin story of Velma Dinkley, the unsung and under appreciated brains of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling directed by Olivia Wilde and starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Wilde herself, and KiKi Layne. The film’s original score is composed by John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Bourne Identity, Happy Feet). Opening in around 900 U.S. theaters today is the British family adventure drama Railway Children directed by Morgan Matthews and starring Jenny Agutter, Sheridan Smith, Tom Courtenay, John Bradley, Beau Gadsdon and K.J. Aikens. Edward Farmer (Prince Philip: The Man Behind the Crown, DNA Family Secrets,) and Martin Phipps (The Crown, The Aftermath, Woman in Gold) have composed the film’s original music. MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this year when the movie opened overseas (under the title The Railway Children Return). The movie is directed by Millicent Shelton (Ride) and stars Queen Latifah, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges and Beau Bridges. The thriller follows a woman who embarks on a cross-country trip with her family to start a new life, when they become the targets of a mysterious killer in the New Mexico desert and must learn to fight back.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Craig DeLeon (Music, The Last Survivors, Scandalous: The True Story of the National Enquirer). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey is created by by Walter Mosley based on his own bestselling novel and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Dominique Fishback, Damon Gupton, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Walton Goggins and Omar Miller. The 6-part drama tells the story of an ailing man on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia who is assigned to the care of an orphaned teenager.
