440 Hz has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy Comédie-Française (De la Comédie-Française). The album features the film’s original music composed by Clément Ducol (Emilia Perez, Peter Von Kant, Little Tickles, Maestro, Chicken for Linda!, I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Comédie-Française is directed by Bertrand Usclat & Martin Darondeau and stars Pauline Clément, Benjamin Lavernhe, Marina Hands, Julien Frison, Danielle Lebrun, Sefa Yeboah and Laurent Stocker. The movie follows an actress-turned-director who faces every theatermaker’s worst nightmare when disaster strikes just hours before the premiere of her production of Macbeth.

Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Win Golden Globe for ‘Challengers’ Score
Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross have received their third Golden Globe in the Original Score category for their score for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers at tonight’s 82nd Golden Globe Awards ceremony. They previously won the award for their music for The Social Network & Soul and were also nominated for their The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl and Mank scores. ‘Emilia Pérez’ Soundtrack Album Details
The details of the full soundtrack album for Jacques Audiard’s musical drama Emilia Pérez have been revealed. The album features the film’s original songs (performed by cast members Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofia Gascón, Selena Gomez, Mark Ivanir, Adriana Paz & others) and original score composed by Clément Ducol & Camille. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 1 by Sony Masterworks and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an EP featuring five first songs last month. Emilia Pérez is written and directed by Audiard and also stars Edgar Ramírez. The movie follows a fearsome cartel leader who enlists an unappreciated lawyer stuck in a dead-end job, to help fake her death so that she can finally live authentically as her true self.

Sony Masterworks/Milan Records has released the first five tracks from the soundtrack for Jacques Audiard’s drama Emilia Pérez. The 5-track EP features the original songs El Alegato written by Clément Ducol, Camille & Audiard and performed by Zoe Saldaña, Para written by Ducol & Camille and performed by Aitza Terán & Iván Ruiz De Velasco, Papa written by Camille & Audiard and performed by Juan Pablo Monterrubio & Karla Sofia Gascón and El Mal written by Camille, Ducol & Audiard and performed by Saldaña, Karla Sofia Gascón & Camille. Also included is Las Damas que Pasan based on Georges Brassens’s Les Passantes inspired by a poem by Antoine Pol and performed by Adriana Paz. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French animated comedy drama Chicken for Linda! (Linda veut du poulet!). The album features the film’s original score and songs composed by Clément Ducol (Peter Von Kant, Little Tickles, Maestro, I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Chicken for Linda! is directed by Chiara Malta & Sébastien Laudenbach and tells the story of a mother who does everything she can to find a meal of chicken with peppers for her daughter, which reminds the child of the dish her father used to make.
Clément Ducol & Camille to Compose Music for Jacques Audiard’s ‘Emilia Perez’
Clément Ducol (Little Tickles, I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere, Maestro) is set to compose the original score for the upcoming musical crime comedy Emilia Perez. French singer/songwriter Camille (Corsage) has written the original songs for the film written and directed by Jacques Audiard (A Prophet, The Sisters Brothers) and will star Karla Sofia Gascón, Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldaña. The movie revolves around a feared Mexican cartel leader who has a sex change to get away from the law and become the woman he’s always wanted to be.

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Peter von Kant. The album features the film’s original music composed by Clément Ducol (Little Tickles, Maestro, I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere). Also included is lead actress Isabelle Adjani’s rendition of Jeder tötet was er liebt. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Peter von Kant is directed by François Ozon and stars Denis Ménochet, Adjani and Hannah Schygulla. The movie is inspired by Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s cult film The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant and follows a successful director who lives with his assistant, whom he likes to mistreat and humiliate, when he meets and falls in love with a handsome young man.
