Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the action thriller Monkey Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant, Macbeth, The Babadook, Overlord, The Oxford Murders, The Mustang, The Pope’s Exorcist, Assassin’s Creed). Also included are songs by Sneha Khanwalkar, Rada, Lazer X and Ganesh Chandanshive. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 5 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services. Monkey Man is co-written and directed by Dev Patel and stars Patel himself, Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vipin Sharma, Adithi Kalkunte, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sikandar Kher and Makarand Deshpande. The movie produced by Jordan Peele follows a man’s quest for vengeance against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and continue to systemically victimize the poor and powerless. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Universal Pictures.
