Netflix has released the official music video for the orchestral version of If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys from the Netflix limited series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The cover was recorded with a newly formed 74-piece Global Orchestra, made up entirely of women of color, on the 20th anniversary of the song. The track is now available as a digital single on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) and is also included on the Covers from the Netflix Series soundtrack album, which has been released last Thursday. ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’ Soundtrack Albums Released
Sony Masterworks has released two soundtrack albums for the Netflix limited series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The first album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, King Richard, Dear White People, Green Book, Space Jam: A New Legacy, When They See Us). The second album features the instrumental covers of hit songs from the show, as well as Alicia Keys’ new version of If I Ain’t Got You (recorded with an 70-piece orchestra). Premiering today is the Paramount+ original series Fatal Attraction developed by Alexandra Cunningham and starring Joshua Jackson, Lizzy Caplan, Amanda Peet, Toby Huss, Brian Goodman, Alyssa Jirrels and Reno Wilson. The show’s original music is composed by Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Velma, End of the Road, Music, The Last Survivors). The thriller, which is based on Adrian Lyne’s 80s hit movie of the same title, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
Also premiering today is the British limited series Tom Jones written by Gwyneth Hughes based on Henry Fielding’s novel The History of Tom Jones, A Foundling and starring Solly McLeod, Sophie Wilde, Hannah Waddingham, Shirley Henderson, James Fleet, Felicity Montagu, Alun Armstrong, James Wilbraham, Pearl Mackie and Tamzin Merchant. Matthew Slater (Grace, Endeavour) has composed the show’s original music. Kris Bowers (King Richard, Green Book, Dear White People, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America) has composed the original score for the new Netflix limited series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The Bridgerton prequel is created by Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) and stars Golda Rosheuvel, India Amarteifio, Adjoa Andoh, Michelle Fairley, Ruth Gemmell, Arsema Thomas, Corey, Mylchreest, Sam Clemmett, Hugh Sachs, Freddie Dennis and Julie Andrews. The series, which also features Bridgerton-style orchestral versions of hit songs (by Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, among others) from the last decades, revolves around the title character whose marriage to King George of England sparks a love story and transforms high society.
