Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Sick. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nima Fakhrara (Lou, Becky, Detroit: Become Human, The Signal, The Girl in the Photographs, Alone, The Pyramid). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 13 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Sick is directed by John Hyams, written by Kevin Williamson & Katelyn Crabb and stars Gideon Adlon, Bethlehem Million, Marc Menchaca and Jane Adams. The slasher is set during the early days of the pandemic that brings the world to a halt and follows a young woman and her best friend who decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone – or so they think.

Premiering today is the AMC original series Mayfair Witches developed by Esta Spalding & Michelle Ashford based on Anne Rice’s best-selling trilogy and starring Alexandra Daddario, Jack Huston, Harry Hamlin and Tongayi Chirisa. The show’s original music is composed by Will Bates (The Magicians, Unbelievable, Away, The Path, I Origins, The Looming Tower). Premiering on Thursday, January 12, is the HBO Max animated series Velma developed by Mindy Kaling & Charlie Grandy based on characters from the Scooby-Doo franchise and starring Kaling, Constance Wu, Glenn Howerton and Sam Richardson. Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Music, End of the Road, The Last Survivors) has composed the show’s original music. Nima Fakhrara Scoring John Hyams’ ‘Sick’
Composer Nima Fakhrara (The Signal, Becky, The Girl in the Photographs, The Pyramid, Detroit: Become Human) is reuniting with director John Hyams (Black Summer, Universal Soldier: Regeneration) on the upcoming thriller Sick. The film starring Gideon Adlon, Jane Adams, Marc Menchaca, Dylan Sprayberry & Charla Bocchicchio takes place when the country locks down due to the pandemic and follows a college student and her best friend who decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone – or so they think. Kevin Williamson (Scream, Dawson’s Creek, I Know What You Did Last Summer) co-wrote the screenplay with Katelyn Crabb based on a story by himself.
