Andrea Farri (Io Capitano, The Hanging Sun, Security, The First King, Latin Lover, Italian Race) has been tapped to score the upcoming Peacock original series Those About to Die. The show based on Daniel P. Mannix’s nonfiction book of the same title is directed by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, Stargate) & Marco Kreuzpaintner (The Collini Case, Bodies) and stars Anthony Hopkins, Iwan Rheon, Sara Martins, Jojo Macari, Tom Hughes, Moe Hashim, Rupert Penry-Jones, Gabriella Pession, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Emilio Sakraya, David Wurawa, Dimitri Leonidas, Pepe Barroso, Eneko Sagardoy, Gonçalo Almeida and Romana Maggiora Vergano. The 10-part historical drama set in the corrupt world of the spectacle-driven gladiatorial competition and follows a group of characters from all corners of the Roman Empire who collide at the explosive intersection of sports, politics, and dynasties.

‘Fright Krewe’ Soundtrack Album Released
Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album for the Peacock/Hulu animated horror series Fright Krewe. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted Metal, Obliterated, Wrestlers, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man, Good Sam). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last March when the drama premiered in the UK on ITV. Marco Beltrami & Miles Hankins Scoring Peacock’s ‘Apples Never Fall’
Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, A Quiet Place, Scream, World War Z, Ford v. Ferrari) & Miles Hankins (The Night Before, Being Serena, Long Shot, Len & Company, No Exit) have teamed up to score the upcoming Peacock limited series Apples Never Fall. The show is developed by Melanie Marnich (A Murder at the End of the World) based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Liane Moriarty and stars Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Essie Randles, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Georgia Flood, Dylan Thuraisingham and Jeanine Serralles. The 7-part drama follows two former tennis coaches who have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start spending more time with their four adult children, when a wounded young woman knocks on their door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing.
‘Vigil’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Addict London has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Vigil. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Afterhere (aka Berenice Scott & Glenn Gregory) (Liar, The Suspect, Under the Wire). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the composers’ end titles track below. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Scott’s & Gregory’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Vigil is created by Tom Edge and stars Suranne Jones, Rose Leslie, Gary Lewis, Dougray Scott, Romola Garai, Anders Hayward, Chris Jenks, Shannon Hayes and Orla Russell.

Back Lot Music has released the theme song from DreamWorks Animation’s new TV series Megamind Rules! The extended version of the song written and produced by Alex Seaver (aka Mako) and performed by Adam Lambert and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Jeff Morrow Scoring Sarah Gibson’s Peacock Documentary ‘Stormy’
Jeff Morrow (Science Fair, A Christmas Story Christmas, The Snoopy Show, Ibiza, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure) has provided the original score for the upcoming Peacock original documentary Stormy. The film is directed by Sarah Gibson (Orgasm Inc: The Story of OneTast) and centers on the life and times of Stormy Daniels, as she shares her story and account of events that have become part of American history. The movie follows Stormy as she navigates being a mother, an artist, and an advocate working hard to reinvent herself, while still grappling with the bombshell that went off in her life five years earlier.
Matthew Janszen & Bryan Winslow Scoring Peacock’s ‘Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate’ & ‘Megamind Rules!’
Matthew Janszen (Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Fatal Affair, Bugs Bunny Builders, Love Accidentally) & Bryan Winslow (Vacation Home Nightmare) are scoring DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate and TV series Megamind Rules!. Both the movie and TV show are written/developed by Alan Schoolcraft & Brent Simons based on the studios’ 2010 Megamind feature (scored by Hans Zimmer & Lorne Balfe), where the title character goes from being a supervillain and the scourge of Metro City to a superhero who’s learning on the job. The projects’ voice cast includes Keith Ferguson, Laura Post, Maya Aoki Tuttle, Josh Brener, Emily Tunon, Talon Warburton, Chris Sullivan, Scott Adsit, Tony Hale, Jeanine Mason and Adam Lambert.
