Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2000 historical drama The Patriot directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger, Jason Isaacs, Joely Richardson, Chris Cooper, René Auberjonois, Tchéky Karyo and Tom Wilkinson. The album features the complete original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List, Raiders of the Lost Ark), including previously unreleased music, as well as alternate and source cues. Also included is a remastered version of the original 2000 soundtrack album (released by Hollywood Records). Music.Film Recordings & Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Those About to Die. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Andrea Farri (Io Capitano, Security, The First King, The Hanging Sun, Italian Race, Latin Lover). Also included is the historical drama’s opening title theme (in two different versions) composed by French singer/songwriter Woodkid. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Thomas Wander & Harald Kloser (2012, The Day After Tomorrow, Midway, White House Down, Independence Day: Resurgence, 10,000 BC). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 4, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Roland Emmerich’s 1994 sci-fi adventure Stargate starring Kurt Russell and James Spader. The 25th Anniversary edition features the expanded and remastered score from the movie composed by David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Sherlock, Tomorrow Never Dies, Shaft), including over 30 minutes of previously unreleased music.
