Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2000 historical drama The Patriot directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger, Jason Isaacs, Joely Richardson, Chris Cooper, René Auberjonois, Tchéky Karyo and Tom Wilkinson. The album features the complete original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List, Raiders of the Lost Ark), including previously unreleased music, as well as alternate and source cues. Also included is a remastered version of the original 2000 soundtrack album (released by Hollywood Records). The 3-CD set is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. The Patriot is now available on VOD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
