Premiering on Wednesday, January 24, is the National Geographic documentary series A Real Bug’s Life inspired by Pixar’s 1998 feature A Bug’s Life, narrated by Awkwafina and executive produced by Tom Hugh-Jones, Grant Mansfield and Martha Holmes. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Royal Tenenbaums, The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Last Man on Earth, The Croods: A New Age) has composed the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released on Friday by Hollywood Records. Premiering on Thursday, January 25, is the Netflix limited series Griselda created by Doug Miro, Eric Newman, Ingrid Escajeda & Carlo Bernard and starring Sofía Vergara, Alberto Guerra, Martin Rodriguez, Juliana Aidén Martinez and Christian Tappan. The show’s original music is composed by Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Godless, Hacks, Lessons in Chemistry, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Just Beyond, Chupa). Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Eldad Guetta Scoring Peacock’s ‘In the Know’

Composer/songwriter and music producer Eldad Guetta (Press Play, Always Jane, Dirty Tricks) has been tapped to score the new Peacock original animated series In the Know. The show is created by Zach Woods, Brandon Gardner & Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-Head, Office Space) and features the voices of Woods & Judge themselves, Caitlin Reilly, Charlie Bushnell, J. Smith-Cameron and Carl Tart. The adult animated comedy follows NPR’s third most popular host who also happens to be a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of her show, in which she conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests, including Kaia Gerber, Finn Wolfhard, Norah Jones, Tegan and Sara, Ken Burns, Nicole Byer, Roxane Gay, Mike Tyson and Hugh Laurie.

The show’s original music is composed by Jesse Novak (BoJack Horseman, Tuca & Bertie, The Mindy Project, The Baby-Sitters Club, Champions, Blockbuster). Nainita Desai (The Deepest Breath, For Sama, The Reason I Jump, Crossfire, The Tower, American Murder: The Family Next Door) has composed the show’s original score. Walter Murphy Scoring Peacock’s ‘Ted’ TV Series

Walter Murphy (Family Guy, Wiseguy, American Dad, The Late Bloomer, Raw Force) is returning to score the new Peacock original comedy event series Ted. The show is created by Seth MacFarlane (The Orville, A Million Ways to Die in the West) and stars MacFarlane himself (as the voice of Ted), Max Burkholder, Scott Grimes, Alanna Ubach and Giorgia Whigham. The prequel to the Murphy-scored 2012 & 2015 Ted features is set in 1993 and depicts of the early life of the titular character who is now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, John Bennett and his family.

‘Dr. Death’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details

Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Peacock original anthology series Dr. Death. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Leopold Ross (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Death Note, The Book of Eli, Triple 9) & Nick Chuba (The Girl from Plainville, Operation Varsity Blues). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 5 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring Atticus & Leopold Ross’ & Chuba’s score from the first season back in 2021. Season 2 of Dr. Death is written by Ashley Michel Hoban based on the Wondery podcast and stars Edgar Ramírez, Mandy Moore, Luke Kirby, Ashley Madekwe and Gustaf Hammarsten.

Premiering on Wednesday, December 20, is the Disney+ original series Percy Jackson and the Olympians developed by Rick Riordan & Jonathan E. Steinberg based on Riordan’s book series and starring Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead) has composed the themes for the show and Sparks & Shadows have provided the score. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album this coming Friday, December 22. Premiering on Thursday, December 21, is the second season of the Peacock original anthology series Dr. Death written by Ashley Michel Hoban based on the Wondery podcast and starring Edgar Ramírez, Mandy Moore, Luke Kirby, Gustaf Hammarsten and Ashley Madekwe. The show’s original music is composed by Leopold Ross (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, The Book of Eli, Death Note, Dispatches from Everywhere) & Nick Chuba (The Girl from Plainville, Operation Varsity Blues) who previously co-scored Season 1 with Atticus Ross. The new season, which  follows”Miracle Man” Paolo Macchiarini, a charming surgeon renowned for his innovative operations, will be available to stream on Peacock.

Premiering on Thursday, December 7, is the British limited series Archie written by Jeff Pope and stars Jason Isaacs, Harriet Walter, Dainton Anderson, Laura Aikman, Kara Tointon, Oaklee Pendergast and Calam Lynch. The show’s original music is composed by Lindsay Wright (Without Sin, This Is Joan Collins, The Mystery of D.B Cooper, The Whistleblowers). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering in the U.S. on Thursday is the British series The Lovers created by David Ireland, directed by Justin Martin and starring Rosin Gallagher, Johnny Flynn, Conleth Hill and Alice Eve. Lindsay Wright & Tawiah (Without Sin, Black Ops) and have composed the show’s original music. The 6-part romantic comedy, which centers on the relationship between a bad-tempered Belfast supermarket worker and a self-centered, political broadcaster with what looks to be a perfect London life and a celebrity girlfriend, premiered in the UK on Sky Atlantic and will make its domestic debut on Sundance Now and AMC+.

Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain. The album features the film’s original music composed by Amie Doherty (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Undone, Blue Eye Samurai, Spirit Untamed, Happiest Season, The High Note). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The movie produced by Judd Apatow follows three childhood friends turned deadbeat co-worker as they fend off hairless bears, desperate park rangers and a hypocritical cult leader in the hopes of finding a priceless treasure.
