Premiering today is the National Geographic original documentary series Incredible Animal Journeys narrated by Jeremy Renner and executive produced by Martha Holmes, Sarah Gibbs & Tom Hugh-Jones. The show’s original music is composed by Jake Monaco (Jerry & Marge Go Large, Cars on the Road, Dumplin’, Flora & UlyssesLet’s Be Cops, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Keeping Up with the Joneses). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, November 21, is the Irish TV series Obituary created by Ray Lawlor and staring  Siobhán Cullen, Michael Smiley, Ronan Raftery, Danielle Galligan and David Ganly. Steve Lynch (WreckBoys from Hell, Let Us Prey) has composed the show’s original music. The composer has released a soundtrack album featuring his score earlier this fall when the series premiered in Ireland on RTÉ . Premiering on Wednesday, November 22 is the holiday comedy Genie directed by Sam Boyd and starring Melissa McCarthy, Paapa Essiedu, Denée Benton, Luis Guzmán, Marc Maron, Jordyn McIntosh and Alan Cumming. The film’s original music is composed by Dan Romer (Luca, Station Eleven, Maniac, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Superman & Lois, The Good Doctor, Beasts of No Nation). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering on Wednesday is the Disney Channel original movie The Naughty Nine directed by Alberto Belli and starring Danny Glover, Winslow Fegley, Camila Rodriguez, Imogen Cohen, Anthony Joo, Clara Stack, Ayden Elijah, Deric McCabe, Madilyn Kellam and Derek Theler. Kenny Wood (Gatlopp, Go for It!) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced yet. The holiday comedy, which follows a fifth grader who finds himself without a visit from Santa and pulls together a team of eight other “naughty listers” to help him execute a heist at the North Pole to get the presents they feel they deserve, will air on November 22 the Disney Channel and will also be available to stream on Disney+ the following day.

Also premiering on Wednesday is the Apple TV+ holiday special The Velveteen Rabbit based Margery Williams’ children’s book and starring Phoenix Laroche, Alex Lawther, Helena Bonham Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Bethany Antonia,Paterson Joseph, Lois Chimimba, Clive Rowe and Samantha Colley. The live-action/animated hybrid’s original music is composed by Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, The Crying Game, American History XThe Hustle, Poldark). Platoon has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Premiering on Friday, November 24, is the Swedish Netflix limited series A Nearly Normal Family based on Mattias Edvardsson’s best-selling novel and starring Alex Karlsson Tyrefors, Lo Kauppi, Melisa Ferhatovic, Björn Bengtsson, Christian Fandango Sundgren and Håkan Bengtsson. Uno Helmersson (FleeThe Painter and the ThiefMagnus,The Lion Woman,  Bobbi JeneThe Absent One) has composed the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be announced soon. The 6-part crime thriller will be availble to stream on Netflix.
