Marco Beltrami (Logan, A Quiet Place, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Hellboy, The Hurt Locker) and Miles Hankins (Len & Company, Being Serena) have teamed up to score the new Hulu limited series Nine Perfect Strangers. The show is deeveloped by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, The Practice, The Undoing) & John Henry Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow, Ford v Ferrari) based on the New York Times bestselling book by Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies) and stars Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Samara Weaving, Regina Hall, Asher Keddie, Melvin Gregg, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone and Manny Jacinto. The drama takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living and have no idea what is about to hit them.

‘Long Shot’ Score Album Released
Lionsgate Records has released a score album for the romantic comedy Long Shot. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, A Quiet Place, Logan, The Hurt Locker) & Miles Hankins (The Night Before, Len and Company). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Long Shot is directed by Jonathan Levine and stars Seth Rogen, Charlize Theron, Andy Serkis, June Diane Raphael, Ravi Patel, Bob Odenkirk and Alexander Skarsgård. The Summit Entertainment production follows a down on his luck journalist who catches the attention of the world’s most powerful woman and becomes an important part of her inner circle in her journey to become the first female president of the United States.

Opening in most theaters is the animated feature UglyDolls directed by Kelly Asbury and starring Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, Janelle Monae, Wanda Sykes, Emma Roberts, Gabriel Iglesias, Wang Leehom and Pitbull. The film’s original score is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses, Sausage Party) who also co-wrote most of the film’s original songs with Glenn Slater (Tangled, Galavant). Miles Hankins Scoring HBO’s ‘The Many Lives of Nick Buoniconti’
Miles Hankins (The Night Before, Len and Company) is scoring the upcoming HBO documentary The Many Lives of Nick Buoniconti. The film is directed by Bentley Weiner and centers on the 77-year old NFL Hall of Famer, whose story encompasses turns as a linebacker, lawyer, sports agent, broadcaster, executive and philanthropist. Liev Schreiber is narrating the HBO Sports production, which is executive produced by Peter Nelson and Rick Bernstein.

HBO’s ‘Being Serena’ to Feature Music by Miles Hankins
Miles Hankins has composed the original score for the new HBO docu-series Being Serena. The 5-parter centers on Serena Williams, one of the greatest tennis players in history, as she faces new challenges in motherhood, marriage and regaining her supremacy on the court. Mark Shapiro, Michael Antinoro and Will Staeger are executive producing the HBO Sports and IMG production. Hankins’ previous scoring credits include the comedy The Night Before (which he co-scored with Marco Beltrami), Len and Company and the animated series Lego Elves.

Marco Beltrami and Miles Hankins have composed the original score for the upcoming holiday comedy The Night Before. The film is directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50, The Wackness) and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie, Lizzy Caplan, Julian Bell, Mindy Kaling and Michael Shannon. The movie centers on three longtime friends deciding to party one last time on Christmas Eve to mark the conclusion of their 14-year-old holiday tradition. Levine has also co-written the screenplay with Kyle Hunter, Ariel Schaffir and Evan Goldberg (Superbad, This Is the End).
