Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror thriller The Long Walk directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Judy Greer, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Jordan Gonzalez, Roman Griffin Davis, Tut Nyuot, Josh Hamilton, Joshua Odjick and Mark Hamill. The film’s original music is composed by Jeremiah Fraites (of the folk band The Lumineers). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the musician’s score today. Duncan Thum & David Bertok have received their first Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (Original Dramatic Score) category for their score for Netflix’s Chef’s Table: Legends episode José Andrés at today’s second night of the 77th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Theodore Shapiro has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode Cold Harbor from the second season of the Apple TV+ original series Severance in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category at tonight’s first night of the 77th Creative Prime Emmy Awards. He previously won his first Emmy for his music from Season 1 back in 2022 and was also nominated for his main title theme. Mick Giacchino received his first Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special category for his score from the episode After Hours of the HBO series The Penguin. Cristobal Tapia de Veer has won his fourth Emmy Award for his theme for the third season of HBO”s The White Lotus in the Outstanding Main Title Theme Music category.
