Brian Tyler is currently recording his score for the upcoming action sequel xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The film is directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, I Am Number Four) and stars Vin Diesel in the title role, as well as Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu, Michael Bisping, Tony Jaa and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie follows the title character as he comes out of self-imposed exile to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Chad St. John (London Has Fallen) and F. Scott Frazier (Collide, The Numbers Station) have written the screenplay.

‘The Disappointments Room’ Soundtrack Released
Relativity Music Group has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Disappointments Room. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Now You See Me, Eagle Eye). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Disappointments Room is directed by D.J. Caruso and stars Kate Beckinsale, Gerald McRaney, Lucas Till, Mel Raido, Michaela Conlin and Michael Landes. The movie follows a couple who move from Brooklyn to a once-grand southern mansion with their five-year-old son looking for a fresh start and discover a secret room hidden within the attic.

Expected to top the weekend box office is the drama Sully directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney. The film’s original music is composed by Christian Jacob and The Tierney Sutton Band. Eastwood has contributed the score’s theme and also co-wrote the end titles song Flying Home based on his theme. Brian Tyler to Return for ‘Fast 8’
Brian Tyler is set to return as the composer for the upcoming action sequel Fast 8. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, The Italian Job) and stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Eva Mendes and Kurt Russell who reprise their roles from the previous movies. They are joined by Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood. No plot details have been announced yet. Chris Morgan (Wanted) who scripted the last four installments returns as the screenwriter. Neal Moritz (21/22 Jump Street, I Am Legend, xXx) is producing the project with Diesel.

Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the action adventure sequel Now You See Me 2. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Furious 7, Thor: The Dark World, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) who previously scored the 2013 original film. The soundtrack will be released digitally next week and physically on July 1, 2016. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. Now You See Me 2 is directed by Jon M. Brian Tyler is set to compose the music for the upcoming fantasy adventure The Mummy. The film is directed by Alex Kurtzman (People Like Us) and stars Tom Cruise, Annabelle Wallis, Sofia Boutella, Jake Johnson, Marwan Kenzari, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe. Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, The Darkest Hours) is writing the screenplay. The reboot of The Mummy franchise is produced by Kurtzman, Chris Morgan (Fast & Furious series, Wanted) and Sean Daniel (The Mummy series, The Wolfman, Dazed and Confused).

Also included is the original song Drift and Fall Again performed by Madsonik (Tyler’s electronic artist name) featuring Lola Marsh.
