Voltron Recordz has released a second soundtrack album for the crime thriller 1992. The album features the original track Put That in Motion performed by Jxhn Dxe feat. Snoop Dogg & E-40, the new song Wildflower co-written (with David Richardson & Doug Edwards) and performed by Tyrese Gibson (who also stars in the movie) as featured during the movie’s end credits (check out the official lyric video below), as well as tracks by Kosine, J-Rell, Nmbrnd, Kenyon Dixon feat. Eric Dawkins & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Madison Gate Records has previously released a separate album featuring Gilad Benamram’s original score this past Friday.

Pinar Toprak is scoring the upcoming Netflix original movie The Angel. The film is directed by Ariel Vromen (The Iceman, Criminal) and stars Marwan Kenzari, Toby Kebbell, Sasson Gabai, Waleed Zuaiter, Hannah Ware, Mickey Leon, Ori Pfeffer and Maisa Abd Elhadi. The spy thriller is based on Uri Bar-Joseph’s bestselling novel The Angel: The Egyptian Spy Who Saved Israel and tells the true story of high-ranking Egyptian official Ashraf Marwan, who became a spy for Israel despite being the son-in-law of former Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser and close adviser of his successor, Anwar Sadat.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the thriller Criminal. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Furious 7, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Now You See Me) and Keith Power (Hawaii Five-0). Also included is the original song Drift and Fall Again performed by Madsonik (Tyler’s electronic artist name) featuring Lola Marsh. The film is directed by Ariel Vromen and stars Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Reynolds, Alice Eve and Gal Gadot. The movie revolves around a dangerous criminal who has the memories and skills of a dead CIA agent implanted into his brain in order to track down and stop an international terrorist. Douglas Cook & David Weisberg (The Rock, Double Jeopardy) have written the screenplay. Chris Bender (The Butterfly Effect, We’re the Millers), J.C. Spink (A History of Violence), Mark Gill (Olympus Has Fallen) and Matt O’Toole (Before I Go to Sleep) are producing the project.
