Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Wonder Park written and produced by Josh Applebaum & Andre Nemec and featuring the voices of Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis and Ken Jeong. The film’s original score is composed by Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, Baby Driver). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the romantic drama Five Feet Apart directed by Justin Baldoni and starring Haley Lu Richardson, Cole Sprouse, Moises Arias, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Paraminder Nagra and Claire Forlani. Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Iron Man 3) & Breton Vivian have composed the film’s original music. Gast Waltzing Scoring Ivan Kavanagh’s ‘Never Grow Old’

Gast Waltzing (JCVD, Hysteria, George and the Dragon) has composed the original music for the upcoming western Never Grow Old. The film is written and directed by Ivan Kavanagh (The Canal) and stars Emile Hirsch, Déborah François, John Cusack, Danny Webb and Léa Seydoux. The movie centers on a local undertaker who faces a moral dilemma when he profits from the violence caused by a ruthless gang of outlaws who terrorize a sleepy frontier town.

Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the dramatic thriller Money Monster directed by Jodie Foster and starring George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack O’Connell, Dominic West, Giancarlo Esposito and Caitriona Balfe. The film’s original score is composed by Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Free Birds) and produced by Henry Jackman. Sony Classical and Madison Gate Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music. Click here for the full album details. Also opening wide is the horror thriller The Darkness directed by Greg McLean and starring Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, David Mazouz, Lucy Fry, Matt Walsh and Jennifer Morrison. Johnny Klimek (One Hour Photo, Sense8, Cloud Atlas, The International) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The Darkness (previously entitled 6 Miranda Drive) follows two families who return from a summer camping trip in the Grand Canyon with a supernatural presence in tow. ‘Sunset Song’ Soundtrack Released

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama Sunset Song. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gast Waltzing (Hysteria, JCVD, House of Boys). The soundtrack is now available to download overseas. A domestic release is set for May 2016. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. Listen to three tracks from the album after the jump. Sunset Song is directed by Terence Davies (The Deep Blue Sea) and stars Agyness Deyn, Peter Mullan and Kevin Guthrie. The movie is based on the classic novel by Lewis Grassic Gibbon and centers around a farming family struggling to eke out a living in northeast Scotland. The drama premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and is being released in the UK today.

Gast Waltzing is composing the music for the upcoming drama Sunset Song. The film is written and directed by Terence Davies (The Deep Blue Sea, The House of Mirth) and stars Agyness Deyn, Peter Mullan and Kevin Guthrie. The movie is based on the classic novel by Lewis Grassic Gibbon and follows a farming family struggling to eke out a living in northeast Scotland. Sol Papadopoulos, Roy Boulter, Nicolas Steil are producing the project. Waltzing’s previous film scoring credits include Hysteria starring Maggie Gyllenhaal & Hugh Dancy and JCVD starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Opening in most theaters is Universal Pictures’ action tentpole Battleship directed by Peter Berg and starring Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Hamish Linklater and Rihanna. The film’s music is composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers). Varese Sarabande Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Gast Waltzing Scoring ‘Hysteria’

Gast Waltzing has recently scored the British romantic comedy Hysteria. The movie directed by Tanya Wexler stars Hugh Dancy, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jonathan Pryce, Rupert Everett and Felicity Jones. Christian Henson (the Devil’s Double, Black Death) has written additional music for the film. Sarah Curtis (Her Majesty Mrs. Brown), Judy Cairo (Crazy Heart) and Tracey Becker are producing the comedy, which centers on the invention of the vibrator in Victorian London. The story follows a young doctor treating cases of Hysteria who struggled to establish himself while confronting the gutsy daughter of his boss. The project is arguably Waltzing’s highest profile scoring assignment to date. The composer previously scored the 2008 comedy drama JCVD starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.
