The composer duo of tomandandy has been tapped to score the upcoming USA pilot The Wilding. The show is created by Silka Luisa and stars Jordana Spiro, LisaGay Hamilton, Dominic Fumusa, Antonio Jaramillo and Nadia Alexander. The supernatural drama centers on the Hayes family seeking a fresh start after their 17-year-old daughter is released from a mental health institution following ten years of treatment and whose ideals are quickly threatened when the daughter’s apparitions of the dead begin to haunt them once again. Tim Kring (Heroes, Crossing Jordan, Touch) is executive producing the project with Luisa, Justin Levy & Bailey Conway (Sinister) and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Midnight Special).

Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action thriller Hitman: Agent 47 directed by Aleksander Bach and starring Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds and Thomas Kretschmann. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (World War Z, The Wolverine, Scream, The Hurt Locker). La-La Land Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music next week. Also opening wide is the action comedy American Ultra directed by Nima Nourizadeh and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Topher Grace, Connie Britton, Tony Hale, John Leguizamo, Bill Pullman and Walton Goggins. Marcelo Zarvos (The Affair, Ray Donavan, Remember Me, Enough Said) has composed the film’s original score. No word yet on a soundtrack album. American Ultra follows a seemingly hapless and unmotivated stoner whose small-town life with his live-in girlfriend is suddenly turned upside down when he finds out that he is actually a highly trained, lethal sleeper agent. ‘Sinister 2’ Soundtrack Released
Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for the horror sequel Sinister 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by tomandandy (The Mothman Prophecies, The Strangers, Resident Evil: Retribution, The Rules of Attraction). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. A physical version is set to be released later this year. Click here to pre-order the CD. Expected to top the weekend box office is the film adaptation of E.L. James’ bestselling novel Fifty Shades of Grey directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and starring Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Ehle, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes, Max Martini, Dylan Neal, Eloise Mumford, Rita Ora and Victor Rasuk. Republic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring songs from and inspired by the film by such artists as Annie Lennox, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, AWOLNATION, Sia & more. ‘GirlHouse’ Soundtrack Announced
Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the horror thriller GirlHouse. The album features the film’s original score composed by tomandandy (The Mothman Prophecies, The Strangers, Resident Evil: Afterlife, Arlington Road, The Rules of Attraction). Also included is an original track by Slaine who stars in the film, as well as songs by Todd Michael Schultz, Com Truise and Jesse Rhodes. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 10, 2015 and physically on March 10. Visit Amazon to pre-order the album. Audio clips are embedded after the jump. GirlHouse is directed by Trevor Matthews, written by Nick Gordon and stars Ali Cobrin, Adam DiMarco and Slaine. The movie follows beautiful young co-ed girl who moves into a house that streams content to an X-rated website.

Premiering on Wednesday, May 1, is the new comedy Family Tools created by Bobby Bowman (Raising Hope, My Name Is Earl) based on the British sitcom White Van Man and starring Kyle Bornheimer, J. K. Simmons, Johnny Pemberton, Edi Gathegi, Leah Remini and Danielle Nicolet. tomandandy (Resident Evil: Afterlife, The Mothman Prophecies) have composed the show’s score and Matt Mariano (Raising Hope) has also contributed music for the show. Bowman is executive producing the ABC Studios production with Joshua Sternin & J.R. Ventimilia (That ‘70s Show, Rio) and Mark Gordon (Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds). Expected to top the weekend box office is the animated feature Wreck-It-Ralph directed by Rich Moore and featuring the voice talent of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch. The film’s score is composed by Henry Jackman (X-Men: First Class). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well as one track by Skrillex who wrote some of the in-game music and other songs featured in the film. Attached to the film is the animated short Paperman, which features an original score by Christophe Beck.

The director’s regular musical collaborator Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, The Avengers) has composed the film’s original score. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Johann Urb, Li Bingbing, Shawn Roberts, Kevin Durand, Oded Fehr, Boris Kodjoe and Michelle Rodriguez. The film’s score is composed by tomandandy (The Strangers) who have scored the previous installment in the series. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer duo’s score, as well the end credits song Hexes produced by Bassnectar featuring Chino Moreno (of the Deftones) on vocals. Also opening wide is the 3D re-release of Pixar’s animated hit feature Finding Nemo directed by Andrew Stanton and featuring the voice talent of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Alexander Gould. The film’s music is composed by Thomas Newman who received an Academy Award-nomination for his work on the film. No new soundtrack has been released, but the original 2003 album is still in print (click here to download the album). The film’s score is composed by Julian Wass and Bob Mervak has provided additional music. The movie follows a New York City bike messenger who picks up a package at Columbia University and subsequently catches the attention of a dirty cop.
