Stephen Endelman (Flirting with Disaster, The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, Jawbreaker, Home of the Brave, De-Lovely, Madoff, Evelyn) is set to score the upcoming thriller Unholy Night. The film is directed by Derek Presley and will star Ed Speleers, Ed Westwick and Dichen Lachman. The movie tells the story of newly ordained priest who is reunited with his ex-con older brother and – upon discovering that his ex had his child almost eight years ago – endeavors to rescue his daughter and her mother from her abusive husband.

‘Music Got Me Here’ Soundtrack Album Released
Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Music Got Me Here. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Endelman (Flirting with Disaster, Home of the Brave, Jawbreaker, De-Lovely, Evelyn). Music Got Me Here is directed by Susan Koch and chronicles the true-life journey of Forrest Allen who after a snowboard accident at age 18 was unable to speak or walk for almost two years and Tom Sweitzer, an eccentric music therapist with a troubled childhood who credits music with saving his own life and is determined to help Forrest find his voice.
‘Bottom of the 9th’ Soundtrack Released
Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for Raymond De Felitta’s drama Bottom of the 9th. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Endelman (Flirting with Disaster, Home of the Brave, Jawbreaker) who previously scored the director’s features Two Family House & Rob the Mob and the mini-series Madoff. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Bottom of the 9th is written and directed by De Felitta and stars Joe Manganiello, Sofia Vergara, Michael Rispoli and Denis O’Hare. The movie revolves around s a former baseball phenom who – fresh out of prison after a 20 years – works to win back his respect, his family, his lost love and his dream of being a professional baseball career.

The only movie opening nationwide this week is Disney’s The Lion King remake directed by Jon Favreau and starring Donald Glover, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, JD McCrary, Shahadi Wright Joseph, John Oliver, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner. The film’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight) who also serves as the executive music producer on the project. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the movie’s songs written by Elton John & Tim Rice (including a new song), as well as an original song by Beyoncé. Opening in limited release is the documentary David Crosby: Remember My Name directed by A.J. Eaton and produced by Cameron Crowe. Marcus Eaton and Bill Laurance have composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie follows the singer-songwriter as he confronts mortality and assesses all the damage of earlier days. Expected to top this weekend’s box office is the horror thriller Don’t Breathe directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, Daniel Zovatto and Stephen Lang. The film’s original music is composed by Roque Banos (The Machinist, In the Heart of the Sea, Sexy Beast, Oldboy) who previously scored the director’s Evil Dead. ‘Greater’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sports drama Greater. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Raynor-Endelman (Flirting with Disaster, Evelyn, Home of the Brave, Madoff). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 19, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Greater is directed by David Hunt and stars Christopher Severio, Neal McDonough, Leslie Easterbrook, Michael Parks, Nick Searcy and Fredric Lehne. The movie tells the story of college football star Brandon Burlsworth who, with the help of his struggling mother, took a financial and emotional risk by walking on to the Arkansas Razorback in 1994. The movie will be released in select theaters on August 26, 2016 by Hammond Entertainment.
History’s ‘Six’ to Feature Music by Stephen Endelman
Stephen Endelman is scoring the upcoming History mini-series Six. The drama is created by William Broyles (Cast Away, Apollo 13, The Polar Express) & military special operations veteran David Broyles and stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Dominic Adams and Walton Goggins. The 8-parter follows the Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working as a jihadist fighter with the terrorists.

Airing tonight is the Fox television event Grease: LIVE! starring Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, Vanessa Hudgens, Carlos PenaVega, Keke Palmer, Andrew Call, David Del Rio, Kether Donohue, Jordan Fisher and Boyz II Men. Republic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the special by Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey, as well as two original tracks written by Tom Kitt & Brian Yorkey and performed by Carly Rae Jepsen and DNCE and an original track written and performed by DNCE. Premiering on Tuesday, February 2, is the FX original series American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Stephen Endelman to Score ABC’s ‘Madoff’
Stephen Endelman is reuniting with director Raymond De Felitta on the upcoming ABC mini-series Madoff. The drama stars Richard Dreyfuss as Bernie Madoff, Blythe Danner as his wife Ruth, alongside Frank Whaley, Charles Grodin, Erin Cummings, Tom Lipinski, Lyne Renee and Lewis Black. The series follows the rise and fall of the former investment advisor and convicted felon, and the subsequent fallout on his family, associates and investors. Ben Robbins has written the scripts inspired by ABC News’ Brian Ross’ reports and his book The Madoff Chronicles.

Opening in most theaters is the action thriller Hitman: Agent 47 directed by Aleksander Bach and starring Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds and Thomas Kretschmann. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (World War Z, The Wolverine, Scream, The Hurt Locker). American Ultra follows a seemingly hapless and unmotivated stoner whose small-town life with his live-in girlfriend is suddenly turned upside down when he finds out that he is actually a highly trained, lethal sleeper agent.
