Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the drama The Social Reckoning written and directed by Aaron Sorkin and stars Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, Wunmi Mosaku, Bill Burr, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen and Jeremy Strong. The film’s original music is composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla, Jurassic World Rebirth, The Queen, Frankenstein, Philomena). Patrick Jonsson (The Boogeyman,The White Helmets, Mint, Scrapper, Black Earth Rising, Wildcat, The Lost Children, Virunga, On Her Shoulders) has composed the film’s original music. Tuomas Kantelinen has been hired to score the upcoming historical epic Swords and Sceptres. The film marks the directorial debut of Indian choreographer Swati Bhise and stars Rupert Everett, Derek Jacobi, Nathaniel Parker, Ben Lamb, Jodhi May and Devika Bhise who also co-wrote the screenplay with the director and Olivia Emden. The movie tells the story of Rani Lakshmibai, the Queen of Jhansi, who led her army against the East India Company in the 1857 Sepoy Mutiny. Swati Bhise is also producing the project for Cayenne Pepper Productions.
