Dan Levy was honored in the Outstanding Achievement, Music in an Animated Feature Production category for the music from Netflix’s I Lost My Body. Levy accepted his award in person at tonight’s 47th Annie Awards at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The other contenders in the category were Gints Zilbalodis for AWAY, Christophe Beck, Frode Fjellheim, Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez for Frozen 2 , Mark Ronson & Theodore Shapiro for Spies in Disguise and Randy Newman for Toy Story 4.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (November 15, 2019)
Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the sports drama Ford v Ferrari directed by James Mangold and starring Matt Damon, Christian Bale, Jon Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, Tracy Letts, Remo Girone and Ray McKinnon. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, Scream, A Quiet Place) & Buck Sanders (The Hurt Locker, Warm Bodies). Fox Music & Hollywood Records have released two soundtrack albums featuring the composers’ music (click here for the score album details) and the songs from the movie (click here for more information).
Also opening wide is the action comedy Charlie’s Angels directed by Elizabeth Banks and starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Centineo, Sam Claflin and Patrick Stewart. Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians) has composed the film’s original score. ‘I Lost My Body’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature I Lost My Body. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Levy (Empire of the Wolves, Wild Camp). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. I Lost My Body is co-written and directed by Jérémy Clapin and features the voices of Hakim Faris, Victoire Du Bois and Patrick d’Assumçao. The movie is based on Guillaume Laurant’s novel Happy Hand and follows a cut-off hand that escapes from a dissection lab with one crucial goal: to get back to its body.
