Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original adult animated anthology series Secret Level. The Volume 1.1 album features selections of the original music from nine episodes of the show’s first season composed by Rob Cairns (Love, Death + Robots, Dallas, The Forger, The Bachelor), Maxime Hervé (Solasta: Crown of the Magister, Crown Wars, Space Hulk: Tactics), 2WEI (best known for their trailer music) and Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Speak No Evil, Enemy, The Gift, The Outsider). Also included is Cairns’ main title theme, which can also be checked out after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 20 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). A second volume is expected to be released in the coming weeks. Secret Level is created by Tim Miller and showcases a cast including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Ariana Greenblatt, Temuera Morrison, Gabriel Luna, Heaven Hart, Emily Swallow, Ricky Whittle, Merle Dandridge, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Claudia Doumit, Clive Standen, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Laura Bailey and Michael Beach.

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Love, Death + Robots’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Netflix animated anthology series Love, Death + Robots. The album features the original music from the show’s third season composed by Rob Cairns (Dallas, The Forger, The Bachelor) and Jason Hill (Mindhunters, Voir). Also included is the score from the Tim Miller-directed episode Swarm composed by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Zack Snyder’s Justice League) with additional music by Shwan Askari, as well a track from the episode Jibaro by Killawatt. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
Dan Levy Wins Annie Award for ‘I Lost My Body’
Dan Levy was honored in the Outstanding Achievement, Music in an Animated Feature Production category for the music from Netflix’s I Lost My Body. Levy accepted his award in person at tonight’s 47th Annie Awards at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The other contenders in the category were Gints Zilbalodis for AWAY, Christophe Beck, Frode Fjellheim, Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez for Frozen 2 , Mark Ronson & Theodore Shapiro for Spies in Disguise and Randy Newman for Toy Story 4.
Weekly TV Music Roundup (March 10, 2019)
Premiering tonight is the second season of the Starz original series American Gods based on Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel and starring Ian McShane, Ricky Whittle, Yetide Badaki, Crispin Glover, Orlando Jones, Dean Winters, Devery Jacobs, Sakina Jaffrey and Kahyun Kim. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, Ozark, The Gift, Enemy, Martha Marcy May Marlene) are the new composers of the show. Also premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series The Case Against Adnan Syed directed by Amy Berg about the 1999 murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed. The show’s original music is composed by Dhani Harrison & Paul Hicks (Beautiful Creatures, Learning to Drive, The Divide, Outsiders). Netflix’s ‘Love, Death + Robots’ to Feature Music by Rob Cairns
Rob Cairns (Dallas, The Forger, The Bachelor) has composed the original music for most episodes of the new Netflix original series Love, Death + Robots. The show presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool) & David Fincher (The Social Network, Fight Club, Gone Girl) is a collection of animated short stories that span the science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy genres. The 18 episodes of the show’s first season feature stories of sentient dairy products, werewolf soldiers, robots gone wild, garbage monsters, cyborg bounty hunters, alien spiders and blood-thirsty demons from hell, among others.

Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the romantic drama The Age of Adaline directed by Lee Toland Krieger and starring Blake Lively, Michiel Huisman, Kathy Baker, Amanda Crew, Harrison Ford and Ellen Burstyn. The film’s original music is composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, (500) Days of Summer, The Spectacular Now). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the end credits song Start Again. Also opening wide is the drama Little Boy directed by Alejandro Monteverde and starring Emily Watson, Tom Wilkinson, Kevin James, Ben Chaplin, Michael Rapaport, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Ted Levine, David Henrie, Eduardo Verastegui and Jakob Salvatri. Stephan Altman and Mark Foster, from Foster the People, have composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the movie’s score earlier this week. Rob Cairns Scoring ‘The Forger’
Rob Cairns has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming thriller The Forger. The movie is directed by Philip Martin and stars John Travolta, Christopher Plummer, Tye Sheridan, Jennifer Ehle, Anson Mount, Abigail Spencer and Marcus Thomas. The film follows an expert art forger who is released from prison so that he can spend time with his dying son when he reteams with his father to carry out one last big job for the syndicate. The screenplay is written by Richard D’Ovidio (The Call, Exit Wounds). Al Corley, Bart Rosenblatt & Eugene Musso (You Kill Me) are producing the project with Rob Carliner (Crazy Heart, The Apostle).
