MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the Hulu docu-series Sasquatch. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (The Banker, Warrior, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Birth of the Dragon, Cartel Land, Tiger, Baghdad Central). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 14 and will be available to stream/download here. Sasquatch is directed by Joshua Rofé, executive produced by Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass & Mel Eslyn and follows investigative journalist David Holthouse as he attempts to solve a bizarre 25 year old triple homicide that was said to be the work of a mythical creature.

Soundtrack Album for Cinemax’s ‘Warrior’ Season 2 to Be Released
WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for the Cinemax original series Warrior. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Reza Safinia (Birth of the Dragon, Filly Brown, The Trust) and H. Scott Salinas (The Banker, A Private War, Cartel Land, The Ballad of Lefty Brown). Also included are three songs by SmashRegz, Chops & THE WARRIOR. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 7 and will be available to stream/download here. Milan Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composers’ music from Season 1. Warrior is created by Jonathan Tropper, executive produced by Justin Lin and stars Andrew Koji, Olivia Cheng, Jason Tobin, Kieran Bew, Dean Jagger, Dianne Doan, Joanna Vanderham, Tom Weston-Jones, Joe Taslim, Hoon Lee, Langley Kirkwood, Christian McKay, Perry Yung, Dustin Nguyen, Céline Buckens and Miranda Raison.

Premiering tonight is the third season of the Starz anthology series The Girlfriend Experience written and directed by Anja Marquardt (based on Steven Soderbergh’s feature of the same title) and starring Julia Goldani Telles. Matthew Pusti (A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, Whistleblower) has composed the original music for Season 3 and follows Shane Carruth and the Mondo Boys who scored the first two seasons. The third season, which is set amidst the London tech scene and follows a neuroscience major who begins to explore the transactional world of The Girlfriend Experience, only to find herself deep inside the uncanny valley with the relationships she creates, will air Sunday nights on Starz.
Premiering on Tuesday, May 4, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series Star Wars: The Bad Batch created by Dave Filoni and starring Dee Bradley Baker, Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton and Andrew Kishino. The show’s original music is composed by Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol, CSI: Miami, Titans, City on a Hill, Making a Murderer) who previously scored all episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and the feature of the same title) and Star Wars Rebels. Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, Requiem, Marple, Ripper Street, Primeval) has composed the film’s original music. The drama, which revolves aroun a woman affected by dementia who struggles to solve the disappearance of her friend, premiered in the UK in late 2019 on BBC One and is making its domestic debut on PBS as part of the Masterpiece series.

Lunacy Productions has released a soundtrack album for the survival thriller Rust Creek. The album features the film’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (The Banker, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Birth of the Dragon, Cartel Land, Warrior, Sea of Shadows). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Rust Creek is directed by Jen McGowan and stars Hermione Corfield, Jay Paulson, Micah Hauptman, Sean O’Bryan, Daniel R. Hill, John Marshall Jones and Jeremy Glazer. The movie centers on an ambitious, overachieving college senior who gets lost deep in the frozen Kentucky woods while on her way to a job interview and finds herself pursued by a band of ruthless outlaws.

The show is created by David Graziano (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Lie to Me), Michael Carnes & Josh Gilbert (Mr. Woodcock) and stars Michael Chiklis, Juan Pablo Raba, Adriana Paz, Kristyan Ferrer, Octavio Pisano, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams and Julio Cedillo . The drama tells the story of a story of a man, who after 32 years as a border patrol agent, is forced to work for the very people he spent his career trying to keep out of America.
Matthew Heineman’s ‘The Boy from Medellín’ to Feature Original Music by H. Scott Salinas & Sky Rompiendo
Composer H. Scott Salinas (The Ballad of Lefty Brown, The Banker, Warrior, Sea of Shadows) and songwriter/record producer Sky Rompiendo have contributed the original music to the upcoming documentary The Boy from Medellín. The film is directed by Matthew Heineman and follows Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin as he prepares for his 2019 homecoming concert amid intense political turmoil. Heineman is also producing the project with Juan Camilo Cruz, Myles Estey and Joedan Okun.

The film’s original music is composed by Greg J Walker (Newton’s Law) who is also the composer of the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries TV series.
