A soundtrack album has been released for the Channel 4/Hulu series Baghdad Central. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (A Private War, The Banker, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Cartel Land, Warrior, Birth of the Dragon) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and iTunes/Apple Music, where you can also check out audio clips. Baghdad Central is created by Stephen Butchard based on the novel of the same title by Elliot Cola and stars Waleed Zuaiter, Bertie Carvel, Clara Khoury, Leem Lubany, Neil Maskell, July Namir and Corey Stoll.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 23 is the Australian mystery drama Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears directed by Tony Tilse and starring Essie Davis, Nathan Page, Miriam Margolyes, Ashleigh Cummings, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, Rupert Penry-Jones, Daniel Lapaine and Jacqueline McKenzie. The film’s original music is composed by Greg J Walker (Newton’s Law) who is also the composer of the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries TV series. LilliPilli IP has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last month when the movie was released in Australia. Premiering on Tuesday, March 24, is the NBC drama Council of Dads created by Joan Rater & Tony Phelan and starring Sarah Wayne Callies, Clive Standen, J. August Richards, Michael O’Neill, Michelle Weaver, Steven Silver, Emjay Anthony, Thalia Tran and Blue Chapman. Fil Eisler (Revenge, Empire, How to Be Single, UnReal, Proud Mary, CHiPs, Life of the Party) is composing the show’s original music. H. Scott Salinas (A Private War, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Cartel Land, Birth of the Dragon) is scoring the upcoming Channel 4 series Baghdad Central. The show is created by Stephen Butchard (The Last Kingdom, The Child in Time) based on the novel of the same title by Elliot Cola and stars Waleed Zuaiter, Bertie Carvel, Clara Khoury, Leem Lubany, July Namir, Neil Maskell and Corey Stoll. The 6-part crime thriller is set in 2003 Baghdad after Saddam Hussain has fallen and the Coalition forces want to secure the country and centers on a group of ordinary occupied Iraqi citizens.
