Universal Music Enterprises has released the first soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The album features a selection of songs from the show’s first season by Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Julie London, Connie Francis & more. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. A CD version is set to be released in early 2019 and is available for pre-order here and a vinyl version is also in the works (click here to order). The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Michael Zegen and Marin Hinkle.

Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Patriot’ Season 2 to Be Released
Amazon Content Services will release a new soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Patriot. The album features new songs from the show’s second season performed by lead actor Michael Dorman, as well as selections of the drama’s original score composed by Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 9 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A soundtrack EP featuring the songs from the show’s first season has previously been released last year. Patriot is created by Steve Conrad and stars Dorman, alongside Terry O’Quinn, Michael Chernus, Kathleen Munroe, Aliette Opheim, Debra Winger and Kurtwood Smith.

Premiering in the U.S. this Thursday, November 8, is the British mini-series The Cry directed by Glendyn Ivin and starring Jenna Coleman, Ewen Leslie, Stella Gonet, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Asher Keddie and Alex Dimitriades. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Home, The Lego Batman Movie, The Crown, Genius) has composed the original music for the 4-part series. Premiering on Friday, November 9, is the Netflix docu-series Medal of Honor executive produced by James Moll, Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Jacqueline Levine and Brandon Birtell. The show’s original music is composed by Jasha Klebe (Planet Earth II, Diana: In Her Own Words). The series, which tells the true stories of eight recipients of the nation’s highest and most prestigious award: the Medal of Honor, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Soundtrack Album for ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’ Released
Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi anthology series Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams. The album features the music from the series, including the main title theme composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, The Chronicles of Narnia), as well as the composer’s score for the episodes The Commuter (for which he received an Emmy Award nomination) and The Father Thing. Also included is the music for three episodes composed by Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane), two episodes by Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Utopia), one episode by Ólafur Arnalds (Broadchurch), as well as two episodes by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It), one of which he co-scored with BT (The Fast & the Furious, Monster). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 31 is the new CBS All Access original series Tell Me a Story created by Kevin Williamson and starring James Wolk, Billy Magnussen, Dania Ramirez, Danielle Campbell, Paul Wesley and Kim Cattrall. Premiering on Friday, November 2 is the new Amazon original series Homecoming created by Eli Horowitz & Micah Bloomberg, directed by Sam Esmail and starring Julia Roberts, Bobby Cannavale, Stephan James, Shea Whigham, Jeremy Allen White, Alex Karpovsky, Sissy Spacek, Dermot Mulroney, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Hong Chau. The show doesn’t feature an original score. Maggie Phillips serves as the project’s music supervisor. The full first season of the show, which follows a caseworker who helps soldiers transition back to civilian life, will be available to stream on Friday on Amazon Prime.
Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Beat’ Released
Great Escape Records has released a soundtrack album for the German Amazon original series Beat. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Ben Lukas Boysen (aka Hecq) (Manifesto). Also included are tracks by Van Der Meer, Matthew Dear, Efdemin, Dina Washington, dotwav & others. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Beat is directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner (Summer Storm) and stars Jannis Niewöhner, Karoline Herfurth, Christian Berkel, Alexander Fehling and Kostja Ullmann. The crime drama follows a drug-using, sex-addicted young club promoter whose far-reaching connections in Berlin’s seedy club scene become of interest to police investigators trying to bring down a human-organ trafficking ring.
Soundtrack Album for ITV/Amazon Series ‘Vanity Fair’ Released
Decca Records has released a soundtrack album for the ITV and Amazon mini-series Vanity Fair. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, The Split, Vita and Virginia). Also included is the drama’s title song All Along The Watchtower by Afterhere, as well as tracks by Jade Bird, Paloma Faith, Agnes Abel and Laura Mvula. Vanity Fair is developed by Gwyneth Hughes based on Williams Makepeace Thackeray’s classic 1848 novel and stars Olivia Cooke, Tom Bateman, Suranne Jones, Michael Palin, Johnny Flynn, Martin Clunes, Frances de La Tour, Claudia Jessie, Simon Russell Beale, Claire Skinner, David Flynn and Charlie Rowe.
Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow to Score Amazon’s ‘Hanna’ TV Series
Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury (Ex Machina, Annihilation, Free Fire) have been tapped to score the upcoming Amazon original series Hanna. The show is developed by David Farr (The Night Manager, Troy: Fall of a City) and stars Mireille Enos, Joel Kinnaman and Esme Creed-Miles. The drama is based on Joe Wright’s 2011 feature, which was co-written by Farr and scored by The Chemical Brothers, and follows the journey of a young girl as she evades the relentless pursuit of an off-book CIA agent and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.
Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Comrade Detective’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Comrade Detective. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, Femme Fatales, The Way of the Gun). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 28 and will be available to download on Amazon. Comrade Detective is created by Brian Gatewood & Alessandro Tanaka and stars Florin Piersic, Jr. and Corneliu Ulici. The show follows the lead characters (voiced by Channing Tatum & Joseph Gordon-Levitt) as are they investigating the murder of a fellow officer and, in the process, unraveling a subversive plot to destroy their country.

Premiering tomorrow, September 24, is the new NBC drama Manifest created by Jeff Rake and starring Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur and Luna Blaise. The show’s original music is composed by Danny Lux (Grey’s Anatomy, Halloween: Resurrection, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, My Name Is Earl). Also premiering tomorrow is the CBS drama Magnum P.I. developed by Peter M. Lenkov & Eric Guggenheim based on the classic 80s series and starring Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill and Tim Kang. Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians) & Keith Power (MacGyver, Hawaii Five-0) have scored the first episode and Power is composing the music for the rest of the season.
