Premiering tonight is the Showtime original series Kidding created by Dave Holstein, directed by Michel Gondry and starring Jim Carrey, Frank Langella, Catherine Keener and Judy Greer. David Wingo (Take Shelter, Mud, Loving, Barry, Our Brand Is Crisis, The Sitter) is composing the show’s original music. Soundtrack Details for Amazon’s ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ Announced

La-La Land Records has announced the full details of the first soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award nominee Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Pacific Rim, Iron Man, A Wrinkle in Time). The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally this Friday, August 31 (click here to download). The CD version, which features three additional bonus tracks, will be available to order on the label’s website later today (expected to begin shipping next week) and is also available for pre-order on Amazon.

Premiering tonight is the Starz docu-series America to Me directed by Steve James The show’s original music is composed by Joshua Abrams who previously scored James’ feature documentaries Life Itself and Abacus: Small Enough to Jail. Premiering on Thursday, August 30, is the CBS All Access original series One Dollar created by Jason Mosberg, directed by Craig Zobel and starring John Carroll Lynch, Nathaniel Martello-White, Chris Denham, Philip Ettinger, Kirrilee Berger, Gracie Lawrence and Joshua Bitton. Mychael Danna’s ‘The Last Tycoon’ Main Title Theme Released

Madison Gate Records has released the main title theme from the Amazon original series The Last Tycoon. The track is composed by Academy Award winner Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, The Good Dinosaur, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine) who also scored the show and recently received an Emmy Award nomination for the theme, which is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. The Last Tycoon is created by Billy Ray and stars Matt Bomer, Kelsey Grammer and Lily Collins. The drama based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s last work follows Hollywood’s Golden Boy, Monroe Stahr as he battles father figure and boss, Pat Brady for the soul of their studio.

Ilan Eshkeri Scoring BBC’s ‘Informer’

Premiering tomorrow, August 6, is the AMC original series Lodge 49 created by Jim Gavin and starring Wyatt Russell, Brent Jennings, Sonya Cassidy, Linda Emond, David Pasquesi and Eric Allan Kramer. The show’s original music is composed by Andrew Carroll. The series is set in Long Beach, California and centers on a disarmingly optimistic local ex-surfer who’s drifting after the death of his father and collapse of the family business. The drama will air Monday nights on AMC. Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, August 7, is the Canadian drama Carter created by Garry Campbell and starring Jerry O’Connell, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Varun Saranga, Matt Baram, Kristian Bruun and Brenda Kamino. Ian LeFeuvre (Burden of Truth, The Detail) and Ari Posner (Flashpoint, Anne with an E) are composing the show’s original music. The series follows a television actor who returns to his small hometown after a public meltdown and partners with his detective friend to use his acting experience to solve real crimes. Drawing Number One will release a soundtrack album for Drake Doremus’ sci-fi romance Zoe. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Good Doctor, Beasts of No Nation, Atypical, Easy). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 20 and will be available to download on Amazon. Zoe is directed by Doremus (Like Crazy) and stars Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, Theo James, Christina Aguilera and Miranda Otto. The movie follows two colleagues at a revolutionary research lab who design technology to improve and perfect romantic relationships.

The superhero drama is developed by Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg based on the comic series created by Darick Robertson (Happy) and Garth Ennis (Preacher) and stars Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Laz Alonso, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Premiering tomorrow, July 16, is the HBO documentary Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind directed by Marina Zenovich about the extraordinary life and career of one of the world’s most beloved and inventive comedians. The film’s original music is composed by Adam Dorn (Kickboxer: Vengeance & Retaliation, Nobodies). The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is premiering on HBO following a limited theatrical release this past weekend. Premiering on Thursday, July 19, is the horror comedy Office Uprising directed by Lin Oeding and starring Brenton Thwaites, Jane Levy, Karan Soni, Zachary Levi and Alan Ritchson. The movie tells the the story of an underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm who finds that his co-workers have been “weaponized” by a new energy drink designed for the military. The comedy is premiering in the U.S. exclusively on Crackle.
