SBS Productions has confirmed to Film Music Reporter that Dario Marianelli is set to score Brian De Palma’s upcoming drama Passion. The movie starring Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace is a remake of the French psychodrama Love Crime (Crime d’amour) directed by Alain Corneau and starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier as two ruthless executives, one of whom is driven to murder the other. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced. Saïd Ben Saïd (Carnage) is producing the project through SBS Productions and Integral Films is the German partner. Brian De Palma has worked with some of film music’s most respected composers throughout his career.
