Columbia Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood. The album features the songs from the movie by Deep Purple, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Bob Seger System, Buffy Sainte-Marie, The Buchanan Brothers, a track from Maurice Jarre’s score from The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean & more . Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood is written and directed by Tarantino and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Al Pacino. The movie is set in 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, and follows a TV star and his longtime stunt double as they make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore.

‘The Hateful Eight’ Soundtrack Preview
The Weinstein Company has published the opening track from Quentin Tarantino’s western The Hateful Eight. The track, entitled L’Ultima Diligenza di Red Rock, is written by the film’s composer Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in the West, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Untouchables, The Mission). As previously reported, Decca Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the film this Friday, December 18. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. The Hateful Eight starring Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Demian Bichir and Channing Tatum will be released in select cities in a special roadshow version on December 25 by the Weinstein Company, before expanding nationwide on December 31.

Ennio Morricone in Conversation with Quentin Tarantino
On March 18, legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone will appear at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Bing Theater for a discussion of his far-ranging career. Academy Award-winning writer/director Quentin Tarantino will be moderating the conversation. Morricone whose credits include such classic as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West and The Mission, as well as numerous films directed by Brian De Palma, Warren Beatty and Giuseppe Tornatore will make a rare visit to Los Angeles, where he will also be conducting his first-ever L.A. live performance with a 200-member orchestra and choir performing a selection of his works at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on March 20.
‘Django Unchained’ Soundtrack Details
The Weinstein Company, Quentin Tarantino and Loma Vista Recordings have announced the details of the soundtrack release for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. The album features new original tracks, including 100 Black Coffins by Rick Ross and produced by and featuring Jamie Foxx, Who Did That To You? by John Legend, Ancora Qui by Honorary Academy Award-winning composer Ennio Morricone and Elisa, and the duet Freedom performed by Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton. Also included is existing music used in the film, including tracks by Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, Luis Bacalov and Riz Ortolani. The soundtrack will be released on December 18, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz,

‘Django Unchained’ Soundtrack Announced
Universal Music Group will release the soundtrack album for Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated film Django Unchained. The album will be released on December 18, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. No word yet on the tracks featured on the release, but check back on this site for the details to be revealed within the next few weeks. Mary Ramos who has worked on all of Tarantino’s features serves as the movie’s music supervisor. Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter, played by Christoph Waltz.
