Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the sports drama The Boys in the Boat. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, Argo, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, The King’s Speech). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The composer’s title track is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Boys in the Boat is directed by George Clooney and stars Joel Edgerton, Callum Turner, Hadley Robinson, Jack Mulhern, Sam Strike, Luke Slattery, Thomas Elms and Chris Diamantopoulos. The movie is based on the bestselling non-fiction novel of the same title by Daniel James Brown and tells the true story of the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin.

Linda Cohen serves as the music supervisor of the movie, which is based on the best-selling memoir of the same name by J.R. Moehringer and tells the story of fatherless boy growing up in the glow of a bar where the bartender is the sharpest and most colorful of an assortment of quirky and demonstrative father figures.

The post-apocalyptic drama is directed by Clooney who also stars in the film, alongside Felicity Jones, Kyle Chandler, David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Caoilinn Springall, Demián Bichir, Sophie Rundle, Ethan Peck, Tim Russ and Miriam Shor. The movie is based on the novel Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton and follows the parallel stories of a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to make contact with the crew of the Aether spacecraft as they try to return home to Earth.
Harry & Rupert Gregson-Williams Team Up to Score Hulu’s ‘Catch-22’

The 6-parter is based on Joseph Heller’s novel of the same name and tells the story of the incomparable, artful dodger, Yossarian, a US Air Force bombardier in World War II who is furious because thousands of people he has never met are trying to kill him.

ABKCO Records has announced a soundtrack album for George Clooney’s comedy drama Suburbicon. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Godzilla, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) who previously scored Clooney’s The Ides of March and The Monuments Men. Also included is Victor Young’s & Edward Heyman’s When I Fall In Love from the 1952 film One Minute to Zero. The soundtrack will be released on October 27, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Suburbicon is co-writtten and directed by Clooney and stars Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Noah Jupe and Oscar Isaac.

The movie centers on a father who hatches a plan to kill his wife in order to be with the woman’s sister, with whom he’s having an affair. Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, Fargo) wrote the screenplay.
‘The Monuments Men’ Soundtrack Details
Sony Music will release the official soundtrack album for George Clooney’s historical drama The Monuments Men. The soundtrack features the film’s original score composed by Alexandre Desplat (The King’s Speech, Argo, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) who previously composed the music for Clooney’s The Ides of March. The soundtrack will be released on February 4, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Monuments Men stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville and John Goodman. Desplat also makes an appearance in the film, which follows an unlikely World War II platoon, tasked by FDR with going into Germany to rescue artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and returning them to their rightful owners. The movie opens nationwide on February 7, 2014.
