‘Walk of Shame’ Soundtrack Details

walk-of-shame-soundtrackLakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Walk of Shame. The album features the songs from the film by such artists as Dave Audé (featuring AKON & Luciana), Marcus Latief Scott (featuring John Costello), Brenna Bishop, Lux Lovelle, Eli “Paperboy” Reed and Scott Spock & Corky James. The soundtrack will be released on April 29, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the film’s original score composed by John Debney. Walk of Shame is directed by Steven Brill and stars Elizabeth Banks, James Marsden and Gillian Jacobs. The movie follows a resourceful reporter whose one-night stand with a stranger leaves her stranded the next morning in downtown Los Angeles without a phone, car, ID, or money.  Read the rest of this entry »

antonio-pintoAntonio Pinto is scoring the upcoming dramatic thriller Trash. The film is directed by Stephen Daldry and stars Rooney Mara, Martin Sheen, Wagner Moura, Selton Mello, Rickson Tevez, Eduardo Luis and Gabriel Weinstein. The movie is set in the Third World and tells the story of three poverty-stricken boys who discover a wallet with a treasure map inside in a city dump. Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Notting Hill) has written the screenplay based on Andy Mulligan’s 2010 novel. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, Rush, Les Miserables) are producing the project for Working Title, alongside Kris Thykier (Kick-Ass, The Debt) for PeaPie Films. Read the rest of this entry »

The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (The Spectacular Now, The Way Way Back). The soundtrack will be released on April 22, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. The Final Member is directed by Jonah Bekhor & Zach Math and follows Sigurour “Siggi” Hjartarson, who founded the Icelandic Phallological Museum, the world’s only museum dedicated to preserved male genitalia. Hans Zimmer Composes Hymn for EDM Festival Tomorrowland

imageHans Zimmer has composed the first official hymn for the 10th anniversary of the electronic dance musicmfestival Tomorrowland, which is held every year in the Belgian town of Boom, outside of Brussels. The composer collaborated with Junkie XL (Divergent, 300: Rise of an Empire) and Lorne Balfe (Megamind) on the piece, which was recorded at Air Studios in London. The 2014 edition of Tomorrowland will take place July 18-20 and July 25-27 and the second version of the stateside edition, TomorrowWorld, will be held on September 26-28 in the Chattahoochee Hills outside of Atlanta. million-ways-to-dieBack Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for Seth MacFarlane’s western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West. The album features the film’s original score composed by Joel McNeely (Holes, The Young Indiana Jones ChroniclesSoldier). The composer recently recorded his orchestral music in Los Angeles and collaborated with the bluegrass band Punch Brothers on a number of cues. The soundtrack will be released on May 27, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. jeff-dannaJeff Danna is reteaming with Tim Blake Nelson on the upcoming indie drama Anesthesia. The film is written and directed by Nelson and stars Glenn Close, Sam Waterston, Gretchen Mol, Kristen Stewart, Corey Stoll, Katie Chang, Michael K. Williams, Gloria Reuben, Jessica Hecht, Mickey Sumner and K. Todd Freeman. The movie follows a group of New Yorkers whose lives intersect after the violent mugging of a popular Columbia University philosophy professor. Nelson is also producing the project with Julie Buck, Josh Hetzler and Christopher Scott. Danna has previously collaborated with the actor-turned-director on the 2009 comedy drama Leaves of Grass starring Edward Norton and on the 2001 drama O starring Julia Stiles & Josh Hartnett. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-nominated composer George Fenton (Anna and the King, Gandhi, Groundhog Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 29, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Bears is directed by Keith Scholey & Alastair Fothergill and showcases a year in the life of a bear family as two impressionable young cubs are taught life’s most important lessons. The album features the film’s original music composed by Patrick Cassidy (Kill the IrishmanSalem’s Lot) who recorded his music with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra in Dublin. The soundtrack will be released on May 13, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Calvary is written and directed by John Michael McDonagh (The Guard) and stars Brendan Gleeson, Chris O’Dowd, Kelly Reilly, Aidan Gillen, Dylan Moran, Marie-Josée Croze, Isaach De Bankolé, Pat Shortt, David Wilmot and Domhnall Gleeson. The movie follows a good-natured priest whose world is put into disarray after being threatened during a confession. The movie follows two struggling pals who dress as police officers for a costume party and get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives. hans-zimmerHans Zimmer revealed in an interview with Digital Spy that he is set to reunite with Zack Snyder on Batman vs. Superman. The composer who scored last year’s Man of Steel for the director confirmed that he will begin working on the film after finishing his score for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. The currently untitled sequel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne who will reprise their characters from Man of Steel. They are joined by Ben Affleck who will portray Batman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto have also recently been cast. Chris Terrio (Argo) is writing the screenplay based on a story by Snyder & David Goyer. Read the rest of this entry »
