JB Dunckel (Summer of 85,, K.O., The Summer of Sangaile, Capital in the Twenty-First Century, The Good Teacher, Heartbeast) of the electronic pop duo AIR has provided the original score for the upcoming fantasy adventure Donkey Princess (Princesa Burro). The film is directed by Cristóbal León & Joaquín Cociña (The Wolf House, The Hyperboreans) and stars Antonia Giesen, Andrew Bargsted and Francisco Melo. The Spanish language movie is set in a fairy-tale kingdom where love has been forbidden an tells the story of King Arthur’s daughter, a princess who uses a magical bracelet to travel to other worlds in search of her love. León & Cociña also co-wrote the screenplay with Alejandra Moffat. Catalina Vergara is producing the project. Donkey Princess will premiere next month at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival.
