Republic Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Quibi original series Royalties. The album features the original songs from the show co-written by the show’s star and writer/producer Darren Criss. The first three songs, Just That Good (feat. Rufus Wainwright), Kick Your Shoes Off (feat. Bonnie McKee) and Break It In (feat. Lil Rel Howery & KingJet), from the first episodes premiering tomorrow are already available to stream/download now. The full soundtrack will be released following the finale on July 3, 2020 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Royalties is created by Criss who also stars in the show, alongside Kether Donohue. The musical comedy follows a ragtag songwriting duo as they navigate the strange and hilarious challenges of creating great songs for insane artists. Other stars appearing include Mark Hamill, Julianne Hough, Jennifer Coolidge, Sabrina Carpenter, Jordan Fisher and Jackie Tohn.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime original documentary The Longest War directed by Greg Barker and executive produced by Alex Gansa & Howard Gordon about America’s involvement in Afghanistan, now the longest war in U.S. history. The film’s original music is composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, The Orphanage, Crimson Peak, A Monster Calls, Hercules, Devil). Mandy Hoffman Scoring Quibi’s ‘Dummy’
Mandy Hoffman (The Lovers, Terri, Hala, I Love Dick, Doll & Em) has composed the original music for the new Quibi original series Dummy. The show is directed by Tricia Brock, written by Cody Heller (Deadbeat) and stars Anna Kendrick and Donal Logue. The comedy is inspired by Heller’s relationship with her fiancé Dan Harmon and revolves around an aspiring-but-blocked writer who happens upon her boyfriend’s sex doll (voiced by Meredith Hagner) that suddenly starts talking to her.
Christopher Young and Brian & Caleb Chan Scoring Quibi’s ’50 States of Fright’
Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Ghost Rider, The Hurricane, The Grudge) and Brian & Caleb Chan have contributed original music to the Quibi anthology series 50 States of Fright. The show executive produced by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, The Evil Dead) & Debbie Liebling (South Park, PEN15) explores stories based on urban legends from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington. The first episode, The Golden Arm, is co-written and directed by Raimi and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Travis Fimmel and John Marshall Jones. Other episodes include Red Rum directed by Daniel Goldhaber and starring Christina Ricci and Jacob Batalon, America’s Largest Ball of Twine directed by Yoko Okumura and starring Ming-Na Wen, Almost There written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and starring Taissa Farmiga and Ron Livingston, as well as Grey Cloud Island written and directed by Adam Schindler & Brian Netto and starring Asa Butterfield.
Bobby Krlic & James Kelly Scoring Quibi’s ‘The Stranger’
Bobby Krlic (aka The Haxan Cloak) (Midsommar, Triple 9, Shooter) and James Kelly have composed the original music for the Quibi original series The Stranger. The show is written and directed by Veena Sud (The Killing, The Lie) and stars Maika Monroe, Dane DeHaan and Avan Jogia. The thriller follows an unassuming young rideshare driver is thrown into her worst nightmare when a mysterious Hollywood Hills passenger enters her car. Sud is also executive producing the Fox 21 Television Studios production.

Peter G. Adams (Be Natural: The Untold Story of Alice Guy-Blaché, A Violent Man) has composed the original score for the new Quibi original series Survive. The show is written by by Richard Abate & Jeremy Ungar (Ride) based on the novel by Alex Morel and stars Sophie Turner, Corey Hawkins and Marta Timofeeva. The thriller follows a woman who has to fight for her life when her plane crashes on a remote snow-covered mountain. Mark Pellington (Arlington Road, The Mothman Prophecies) has directed all episodes.
Todor Kobakov Scoring Quibi’s ‘Most Dangerous Game’
Todor Kobakov (The Samaritan, Born to Be Blue, Backstabbing for Beginners, Ransom, Bitten) is composing the original music for the new Quibi original series Most Dangerous Game. The show is created by Nick Santora (Scorpion, Prison Break) and stars Liam Hemsworth, Christoph Waltz, Sarah Gadon, Zach Cherry, Aaron Poole, Christopher Webster, Billy Burke and Natasha Bordizzo. The thriller centers on a man who – desperate to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life – accepts an offer to participate in a deadly game where he soon discovers that he’s not the hunter, but the prey.
Dan Marocco Scoring Quibi’s ‘Flipped’
Dan Marocco (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Demonic, Brotherhood, NTSF:SD:SUV) is scoring the upcoming Quibi original series Flipped. The show is created by Steve Mallory (The Boss) & Damon Jones and stars Will Forte, Kaitlin Olson, Eva Longoria, Arturo Castro and Andy Garcia. The comedy follows a chronically underemployed couple and self-proclaimed home renovation “experts” whose dreams of basic cable fame and glory are derailed when they get themselves kidnapped by members of a drug cartel and are forced to renovate their sprawling homes.
