Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series It’s Not Like That. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Caleb Chan & Brian Chan (Boston Blue, North of North, Allegiance, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish, The Thundermans Return, Panhandle, Pinecone & Pony, 50 Stages of Fright). Also included are two songs by Brooke Alexx & Kipper Gray, as well as Leven Miranda’s & Louie Schultz’s cover of Kacey Musgraves’ Rainbow. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 15 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Two first tracks are already available to stream/download now and can also be check out after the jump. It’s Not Like That is created by Ian Deitchman & Kristin Robinson and stars Scott Foley, Erinn Hayes, J.R. Ramirez, Cary Christopher, Leven Miranda, Caleb Baumann, Liv Lindell and Cassidy Paul.

Premiering tonight is the HBO original series The Chair Company created by Tim Robinson & Zach Kanin and starring Robinson himself, Lake Bell, Sophia Lillis, Joseph Tudisco and Will Price. The show’s original music is composed by Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, A Teacher, I’ll See You in My Dreams, The Threesome, Divorce, Morris from America, Sorry for Your Loss, The Hero, Love Again). Premiering tomorrow, October 13, is the CBS comedy DMV developed by Dana Klein based on a short story by Katherine Heiny and starring Harriet Dyer, Tony Cavalero, Tim Meadows, Alex Tarrant, Molly Kearney and Gigi Zumbado. Gabriel Mann (Modern Family, A Million Little Things, Emily in Paris, Rectify, Rosewood, Better Nate Than Never, High School Musical: The Musical – The Series) is composing the show’s original music. Caleb & Brian Chan Scoring CBS’ ‘Boston Blue’
Caleb Chan & Brian Chan (North of North, The Thundermans Return, Allegiance, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish,Panhandle, Pinecone & Pony, 50 Stages of Fright) have been tapped to score the new CBS drama Boston Blue. The show stars Donnie Wahlberg who reprises his role of NYPD officer Danny Reagan from CBS’ Blue Bloods, as well as Sonequa Martin-Green, Maggie Lawson, Mika Amonson, Marcus Scribner, Gloria Reuben and Ernie Hudson. The series follows Reagan as he takes a position with Boston PD and is paired with the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.
‘The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish’ Soundtrack Album Released
Republic Records Kids & Family has released a soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Caleb Chan & Brian Chan (The Thundermans Return, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, Allegiance, Panhandle, Pinecone & Pony, 50 Stages of Fright). Also included are the songs from the series written by Ryan Lofty & Courtney Lofty, as well as the theme song arranged and produced by Chris Sernel & Grayson DeWolfe (previously released as a digital single). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the first score track after the jump. The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is developed by Daniel Abramovici, Ashleigh Crystal Hairston, Lindsay Katai & David Stone based on the original The Fairly OddParents series, which ran between 2001 and 2017, and stars Ashleigh Crystal Hairston, Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee.
‘The Thundermans Return’ Soundtrack Album Released
Republic Records has released a soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon original movie The Thundermans Return. The album features the film’s original music composed by Caleb & Brian Chan (Panhandle, Pinecone & Pony, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, Allegiance). The Thundermans Return is directed by Trevor Kirschner and stars Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Maya Le Clark, Diego Velazquez, Chris Tallman and Rosa Blasi. The Nickelodeon Studios production based on the live-action superhero comedy series follows the titular superpowered family as they attempt to live a normal life while using their superhuman abilities to stop crime.
‘Pinecone & Pony’ Score Suite Released
DreamWorks Television Animation has released two new tracks from the soundtrack for the studios’ Apple TV+ animated series Pinecone & Pony. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the Pinecone & Pony Score Suite written by the show’s composers Brian Chan & Caleb Chan (Panhandle, 50 States of Fright, Angry Birds: Summer Madness, Team Zenko Go), as well as the original song Thick as Thieves co-written (with Brian & Caleb Chan) and performed by Jordan Klassen. Premiering today is the Disney Channel original movie Under Wraps 2 directed by Alex Zamm and starring Malachi Barton, Christian J Simon and Sophia Hammons. The film’s original score is composed by Jamie Christopherson (American Wrestler: The Wizard, A California Christmas, Bennett’s War, Running Wild, The Ride) & Oleksa Lozowchuk (Horizon Forbidden West, Dead Rising series) who previously co-scored last year’s first installment. Premiering tomorrow, September 26, is the Spectrum original series Panhandle created by Nicholas Stoller & Carla Kettner and starring Luke Kirby and Tiana Okoye. Brian Chan & Caleb Chan (50 States of Fright, Pinecone & Pony) are composing the show’s original music. The dramedy, which follows an eccentric, agoraphobic arm-chair detective and a reluctant traffic cop as they wrestle with personal demons, is premiering exclusively on Spectrum before making its debut on The Roku Channel next year.
Christopher Young and Brian & Caleb Chan Scoring Quibi’s ’50 States of Fright’
Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Ghost Rider, The Hurricane, The Grudge) and Brian & Caleb Chan have contributed original music to the Quibi anthology series 50 States of Fright. The show executive produced by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, The Evil Dead) & Debbie Liebling (South Park, PEN15) explores stories based on urban legends from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington. The first episode, The Golden Arm, is co-written and directed by Raimi and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Travis Fimmel and John Marshall Jones. Other episodes include Red Rum directed by Daniel Goldhaber and starring Christina Ricci and Jacob Batalon, America’s Largest Ball of Twine directed by Yoko Okumura and starring Ming-Na Wen, Almost There written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and starring Taissa Farmiga and Ron Livingston, as well as Grey Cloud Island written and directed by Adam Schindler & Brian Netto and starring Asa Butterfield.
