The details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Fear Street Part 2: 1978 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Logan, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Ford v. Ferrari, The Hurt Locker) and Brandon Roberts (Chaos Walking, Underwater, Motherland: Fort Salem, The Twilight Zone). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 9 by Milan Records (click here to stream/download the album). The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Beltrami’s & Marcus Trumpp’s music from the first part in the Fear Street trilogy and an album featuring the score from Part 3 will be coming out next week. Fear Street Part 2: 1978 is directed by Leigh Janiak and stars Sadie Sink, Emily Rudd, Ryan Simpkins, Ted Sutherland, McCabe Slye, Jordana Spiro, Gillian Jacobs, Kiana Madeira, Benjamin Flores Jr., Olivia Scott Welch, Ashley Zukerman, Chiara Aurelia and Jordyn DiNatale.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, July 5, is the British series The Beast Must Die developed by Gaby Chiappe based on the novel of the same title by Nicholas Blake and starring Jared Harris, Cush Jumbo OBE, Nathaniel Parker, Billy Howle and Geraldine James. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, Disobedience, Temple, The Cave, Noughts + Crosses). Accidental Editions has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past May when the drama premiered in the UK on BritBox. The three movies are co-written and directed by Leigh Janiak (Honeymoon) and will star Kiana Madeira, Ashley Zukerman, Olivia Scott Welch, Sadie Sink, Gillian Jacobs, Benjamin Flores Jr., Emily Rudd, Ryan Simpkins, Mccabe Slye, Ted Sutherland, Julia Rehwald, Fred Hechinger, Maya Hawke, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Jordana Spiro and Jordyn Dinatale.
‘A Quiet Place Part II’ Soundtrack Album Details
La-La Land Records and Paramount Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Ford v. Ferrari, Logan, The Hurt Locker, World War Z, The Wolverine) who previously scored the original 2018 movie. A CD version (limited to 2,000 copies) will be available to order on La-La Land Records’ website on May 25 (and is now also available for pre-order on Amazon) and a digital version is expected to be released on May 28 (click here to stream/download the soundtrack). A Quiet Place Part II is written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The movie follows the Abbott family who must face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.
‘Knowing’ & ‘Lionheart’ Deluxe Edition Soundtracks Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 2009 sci-fi thriller Knowing directed by Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage, Rose Byrne and Chandler Canterbury. The album features the expanded original score from the movie composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, A Quiet Place, The Hurt Locker, Logan, The Wolverine, Ford v. Ferrari), including around 50 minutes of previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set is limited to 1,500 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples.
