Alexis Grapsas (Monday, Trigonometry, Big Shot, Teacher) has recently been scoring the upcoming horror prequel A Quiet Place: Day One. The film is directed by Michael Sarnoski and stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou. The movie explores the beginning of the invasion, in which deadly alien creatures with hyper-sonic hearing arrive on Earth. Sarnoski also wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself and John Krasinski (who helmed the first two A Quiet Place installments scored by Marco Beltrami).

‘A Quiet Place Part II’ Soundtrack Album Details
La-La Land Records and Paramount Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Ford v. Ferrari, Logan, The Hurt Locker, World War Z, The Wolverine) who previously scored the original 2018 movie. A CD version (limited to 2,000 copies) will be available to order on La-La Land Records’ website on May 25 (and is now also available for pre-order on Amazon) and a digital version is expected to be released on May 28 (click here to stream/download the soundtrack). A Quiet Place Part II is written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The movie follows the Abbott family who must face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.

Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Logan, World War Z, Ford v Ferrari) is returning as the composer of the upcoming horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II. The film is written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The movie follows the Abbott family as they must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Krasinski is also producing the Platinum Dunes production with Michael Bay (Transformers, Armageddon), Andrew Form & Brad Fuller (The Purge, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).

Krasinski also wrote the screenplay based on an earlier draft by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods. Michael Bay (Transformers, The Rock, Bad Boys) is producing the Platinum Dunes production with Andrew Form & Brad Fuller (The Purge, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
