Moodswing AB has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish drama My Life as a Comedian (En komikers uppväxt). The album features the film’s original music composed by Jean-Paul Wall (Spinning Man, Heart of a Lion, By the Rails). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. My Life as a Comedian is directed by Rojda Sekersöz and stars Johan Rheborg, Loke Hellberg, Ulla Skoog, Klara Zimmergren, Fredrik Hallgren, Maria Sid and Jakob Eklund. The movie is based on the novel by Jonas Gardell (who also wrote the screenplay) about growing up in 1970s-era Sweden with its countless perils, heartbreaks, and shifting alliances.

Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the horror thriller A Quiet Place directed by John Krasinski and starring Krasinski himself, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, Scream, World War Z, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine). Also opening wide is the comedy Blockers directed by Kay Cannon and starring Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Indira Viswanathan and Gideon Adlan. Mateo Messina (Juno, Casual, Superstore, Butter, Barely Lethal) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been announced. Jean-Paul Wall Scoring ‘Spinning Man’
Jean-Paul Wall is scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Spinning Man. The film is directed by Simon Kaijser (Stockholm East) and stars Guy Pearce, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver, Clark Gregg, Alexandra Shipp, Odeya Rush and Jamie Kennedy. The movie follows a charming professor who appears to be living an idyllic life until a young woman goes missing and he struggles to come up with an alibi to clear his name. Matt Aldrich (Coco) wrote the screenplay based on a novel by George Harrar. Ellen S. Wander (Misconduct) and Keith Arnold are producing the project.
