Director Christopher McQuarrie confirmed on the latest episode of the Light the Fuse podcast that Lorne Balfe will be returning as the composer for the next two installments in the Mission: Impossible series. Tom Cruise, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby are reprising their roles from the previous movies in the sequels, which will be written and directed by McQuarrie. Johann Johannsson’s ‘Personal Effects’ Score to Be Released

Deutsche Grammophon will release the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2008 drama Personal Effects written and directed by David Hollander and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher, Spencer Hudson and Kathy Bates. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Johann Johannsson (Arrival, The Theory of Everything, Sicario, Prisoners, Mandy). The film is directed by Mike Rianda and features the voice talent of Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Mike Rianda, Eric Andre and Olivia Colman. The animated comedy follows a a creative outsider who is accepted into the film school of her dreams. When she and her family drive to her school, their plans are interrupted by a tech uprising.
