The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated feature Abominable directed by Jill Culton and starring Chloe Bennet, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Albert Tsai, Eddie Izzard, Sarah Paulson and Michelle Wong. The film’s original score is composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Legend of Tarzan). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by Bebe Rexha, Phil Beaudreau, Coldplay & others. Click here for the full album details.

Opening semi-wide in around 450 theaters is the biographical drama Judy directed by Rupert Goold and starring Renee Zellweger, Jessie Buckley, Finn Wittrock, Rufus Sewell and Michael Gambon. Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack featuring the composer’s music will be released next month and will be announced soon. Will Blair and Brooke Blair (Green Room, Blue Ruin, Hold the Dark, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore) are scoring the upcoming thriller The Silencing. The film is directed by Robin Pront (The Ardennes) and stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Annabelle Wallis and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. The movie centers on a reformed hunter who becomes involved in a deadly game of cat and mouse when he and the local sheriff set out to track a vicious killer who may have kidnapped his daughter years ago. RCA Records has released the original song Haunted Heart from the animated comedy The Addams Family. The track is written by Antonina Armato & Tim James and performed by Christina Aguilera. ‘Air Force One’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1997 action thriller Air Force One directed by Wolfgang Petersen and starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Glenn Close, Xander Berkeley, William H. Macy and Dean Stockwell. The album features the expanded original score from the movie composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Chinatown, Patton). ‘Looking Up’ Soundtrack Released

14th Street Music has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese family drama Looking Up. The album features the film’s original score by Steffen Thum (Crawl, iBoy, Warning Shot). Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Genius, Gemini Man) has composed the main theme. The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Looking Up is directed by Yu Baimei and Deng Chao who also stars in the movie, which follows an astronaut as he remembers the lessons his father taught him growing up when his space shuttle flight has an accident. A soundtrack album will be released for the horror thriller The Curse of Buckout Road. The album features the film’s original music composed by Grammy Award nominee Ryan Shore (Prime, The Shrine, Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Julie’s Greenroom). Milan Records will release the first soundtrack album for the HBO original series Euphoria. The album features the original score from the first season of the show composed by Labrinth who made his scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released on October 4, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Republic Records has previously released Labrinth’s & Zendaya’s song All for Us from the season finale. Euphoria is developed by Sam Levinson based on the Israeli show of the same name and stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King and Storm Reid. 20th Century Fox TV Records has released the first songs from the new NBC comedy Perfect Harmony. Available now to stream and download is the Hallelujah/Eye of the Tiger mashup (performed by Anna Camp, Rizwan Manji, Geno Segers, Will Greenburg & Tymberlee Hill) as featured in tonight’s pilot episode, as well as Amazing Grace (performed by the show’s cast feat. Missi Hale). Adam Anders (Glee, Rock of Ages) serves as the project’s executive music producer and musical director and produces all on camera performances. Columbia Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Western Stars. The album features each of the live performances from the movie performed by Bruce Springsteen. The soundtrack, which is produced by Springsteen & Ron Aniello, will be released on October 25, 2019 and is now available for pre-order here. Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the nature documentary Untamed Romania. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nainita Desai (For Sama, Enemy Within, Telling Lies) who recorded her score with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 4 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Untamed Romania is directed by Tom-Barton Humphries and narrated by Mark Strong. The movie, which unravels over a year and explores all four seasons, celebrates Romania’s astounding mountains, ancient forests and sweeping wetlands that provide undisturbed habitats to many of the Europe’s endangered creatures.
