Keefus Ciancia (Killing Eve, Eric, London Spy, The Radleys, Great Expectations, Made for Love, The Fall, Diana, The Motel Life) has been hired to score the upcoming neo-noir thriller Quads & The Kicker. The film is written and directed by Heidi James and stars Kelly Marie Tran, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Ashley Reyes and Jamie Neumann. Molly Venter of Goodnight Moonshine is contributing original songs to the movie, which is inspired by the Off-Broadway play Never The Same Rhyme Twice by Andy Rooster Bloch. The thriller is set within the shadowy world of female poker grifters and follows a once-loyal sisterhood as shifting alliances – and a triple-con – fracture the bond that once held them together. James is also producing the project with Michael Downey and Dave McVeigh. Quads & The Kicker is currently in production in Flagstaff, Arizona. (Deadline)
Ciancia also has the documentary In the Company of Wolves: An American Journey coming up. The film directed by Susan Kucera (Living in The Future’s Past, Hot Money), narrated by Jeff Bridges and follows a journey of wolves and other animals as co-travelers through American history, from the shores of England to the birth of the New Republic, and ultimately the colonization of the vast landscapes of the modern American West. The movie will premiere this month at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival and will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD this summer by Vision Films.
