Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British comedy Back to Life created by Laura Solon & Daisy Haggard and starring Haggard herself, Geraldine James, Richard Durden, Adeel Akhtar, Jamie Michie, Souad Faress and Jo Martin. The show’s original music is composed by Solomon Grey (The Last Post, The Casual Vacancy). A soundtrack album featuring the score was released earlier this year when the series premiered in the UK on BBC (click here for the full album details). The comedy is making its U.S. debut on Showtime.
Also premiering stateside tonight is the crime series Dublin Murders developed by Sarah Phelps based on Tana French’s first two novels in the Dublin Murder Squad crime series and starring Killian Scott, Sarah Greene, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Moe Dunford, Leah McNamara, Ian Kenny, Eugene O’Hare, Jonny Holden, Conleth Hill and Peter McDonald. Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Adrift, Patrick Melrose, Gunpowder) has composed the show’s original music.
