Beast Discos has released a soundtrack album for the Chilean drama A Thousand Pieces (Mil Pedazos). The album features the film’s original music composed by Mowat (Sucia, #300 Letters, Isla Ocultas). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. A Thousand Pieces is co-written and directed by Sergio Castro San Martín and stars Paola Giannini, Daniel Muñoz, Emilia Rodríguez, Ximena Martín, Francisco Pérez Bannen and Andrea Romero. The movie follows a family who go on vacation together with their dog, when an accident in the middle of the desert leaves the mother critically injured. The drama premiered at this year’s Málaga Film Festival and just opened in Chile last week. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
