WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the HBO original series Lovecraft Country. The album features selections of the original score from all episodes of the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (StepSet It UpWhy We Hate) and Raphael Saadiq (Underground, InsecureBlack Nativity). Also included are the songs from the horror drama performed by actors Wunmi Mosaku and Jurnee Smollett, as well as Alice Smith’s cover of Nina Simone’s Sinnerman. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 19 and will be available to stream/download here. Lovecraft Country is developed by Misha Green based on Matt Ruff‘s novel of the same name and also stars Jonathan Majors, Aunjanue Ellis, Abbey Lee, Jada Harris and Michael Kenneth Williams. Disney+ announced this week that National Geographic’s upcoming documentary The Real Right Stuff will feature an original score composed by James Everingham (Heroes, Grand Prix Driver) for Bleeding Fingers Music and produced by Hans Zimmer & Russell Emanuel. The composer’s orchestral score was recorded remotely by a socially distant 44-piece orchestra this past May. The movie is directed by Tom Jennings (Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes) and tells the true story of the nation’s first astronauts, the original Mercury 7.  Jennings is also executive producing the 1895 Films production with Simon Raikes (Drain the Oceans). Mondo has announced the full details of the soundtrack release for Vince Gilligan’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed by Dave Porter (Better Call Saul, The Disaster ArtistPreacherThe Blacklist). Also included are the songs from the movie by Chloe X Halle, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jim White (feat. Aimee Mann), Red Snapper and others. The soundtrack is being released exclusively as a limited vinyl edition and is available to order on the label’s website. Sony Classical has previously released a digital single featuring two tracks from Porter’s score earlier this year. No digital release of the full album is currently planned. James Jandrisch (Dangerous LiesHoudini & Doyle) has composed the film’s original score and We Are The West have provided the songs. Transition Music and Entertainment Studios Music Grou have released a soundtrack album featuring both songs and score today. The album features the film’s original score composed by Yuichi Mizusawa (Immortal Hero, Laws of the Universe, The Real Exorcist). Also included are the songs from the movie by lead actor Hiroaki Tanaka, Sayaka Okawa, Tokma, Hisaaki Takeuchi & others. EDM producer Nathan Micay has made his television scoring debut on the new HBO original series Industry. The show is created by Mickey Down & Konrad Kay and stars Myha’la Herrold, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Nabhaan Rizwan, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill and Ken Leung. The drama revolves around an ambitious group of graduates as they compete for a limited number of permanent positions at Pierpoint & Co., a leading bank in London, while being thrown head-first into the exhilarating world of international finance.
