Blue Bonsai Music has released a soundtrack album for the Topic original series Release. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Project Power, Only the Brave) and Clark Rhee. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Release is co-created and written by Joe Penna (Arctic) & Ryan Morrison and stars Kota Eberhardt, Noah Averbach-Katz, Aunjanue Ellis, Mark Borkouwski, Matthew Lawler and Lana McKissack. The 6-part short series reveals a series of interconnected portraits from the first several months of a fictional pandemic as it strikes the quiet outskirts of an American city. The show made its debut at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and premiered last month on Topic.
