Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Before I Fall, Meadowland) is the composer of National Geographic’s new Disney+ original series The Right Stuff. The show is based on the best-selling 1979 novel of the same title by Tom Wolfe and stars Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman, Colin O’Donoghue, Eloise Mumford, James Lafferty, Nora Zehetner, Eric Laden, Patrick Fischler, Aaron Staton, Michael Trotter, Micah Stock, Shannon Lucio and Josh Cooke. The drama focuses on the early days of the U.S. Space Program and tells the true story of America’s first astronauts, the Mercury Seven.

Score Album for Netflix’s ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Announced
La-La Land Records has announced the first score album for the Netflix original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale, Before I Fall, I Think We’re Alone Now). The CD, which is limited to 2,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website. A digital version is also expected to be released by WaterTower Music. A soundtrack album featuring songs from Season 1 of the series, as well as Taylor’s main titles theme was released earlier this year.
‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Season 1 Soundtrack Album Details
WaterTower Music will release the first full soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The album features a selections of songs from the show’s first season performed by the cast, as well as tracks by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stray Cats, The Cramps, Sylvia Black, Valerie Broussard, Aquamarine & others. Also included is main title theme by composer Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 5 and will be available to download here. The label has previously released a 4-track EP this past December. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa based on his comic book series and also stars Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Richard Coyle and Bronson Pinchot.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 31 is the new CBS All Access original series Tell Me a Story created by Kevin Williamson and starring James Wolk, Billy Magnussen, Dania Ramirez, Danielle Campbell, Paul Wesley and Kim Cattrall. Premiering on Friday, November 2 is the new Amazon original series Homecoming created by Eli Horowitz & Micah Bloomberg, directed by Sam Esmail and starring Julia Roberts, Bobby Cannavale, Stephan James, Shea Whigham, Jeremy Allen White, Alex Karpovsky, Sissy Spacek, Dermot Mulroney, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Hong Chau. The show doesn’t feature an original score. Maggie Phillips serves as the project’s music supervisor. The full first season of the show, which follows a caseworker who helps soldiers transition back to civilian life, will be available to stream on Friday on Amazon Prime.

The series is based on Aguirre-Sacasa’s comic book series of the same title and finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature – half-witch, half-mortal – while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.

Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi action thriller The Predator directed by Shane Black and starring Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown and Yvonne Strahovski. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class). Soundtrack Album for Reed Morano’s ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ to Be Released
Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for Reed Morano’s sci-fi drama I Think We’re Alone Now. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale, Before I Fall, Damnation) who previously scored the director’s first feature Meadowland. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 14 and will be available to download on Amazon. A CD version is also in the works. I Think We’re Alone Now stars Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning as survivors in a world where humanity was wiped out in a mysterious incident.

‘Before I Fall’ Soundtrack Announced
Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the drama Before I Fall. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale, Meadowland, Damnation). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Before I Fall is directed by Ry Russo-Young and stars Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Elena Kampouris, Diego Boneta, Jennifer Beals, Cynthy Wu and Medalion Rahimi. The movie is based on the 2010 novel of same title by Lauren Oliver and follows a young woman who is stuck reliving the day of her death during one inexplicable week and untangles the mystery surrounding her death.

Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series SMILF created by Frankie Shaw who also stars in the comedy alongside Miguel Gomez, Rosie O’Donnell and Samara Weaving. The show’s original music is composed by Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, The Exorcist) is composing the show’s original music. Zoe Keating and Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, Star Trek: Discovery) also contributed additional music. Also premiering tonight is the second season of the Starz original series The Girlfriend Experience created by Amy Seimetz & Lodge Kerrigan, executive produced by Steven Soderbergh and starring Anna Friel, Louisa Krause, Narges Rashidi, Carmen Ejogo, Tunde Adebimpe, Harmony Korine and Morgana Davies. Mondo Boys (Phoenix Forgotten, Dave Made a Maze) have joined the project as new composers this season. They follow Shane Carruth who scored last year’s first season of the drama.
