Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi action thriller The Predator directed by Shane Black and starring Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown and Yvonne Strahovski. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-RalphX-Men: First Class). Also opening wide is the thriller A Simple Favor directed by Paul Feig and starring Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Linda Cardellini, Jean Smart and Rupert Friend. Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears PradaMarley & MeTropic Thunder, GhostbustersThe Secret Life of Walter Mitty) has composed the film’s original score. Also opening nationwide is the crime drama White Boy Rick directed by Yann Demange and starring Matthew McConaughey, Richie Merritt, Bel Powley, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Brian Tyree Henry, Rory Cochrane, RJ Cyler, Eddie Marsan, Bruce Dern and Piper Laurie. The film’s original music composed by Max Richter (The LeftoversTabooWaltz with BashirMiss SloaneHostiles). Deutsche Grammophon has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the drama Unbroken: Path to Redemption directed by Harold Cronk and starring Samuel Hunt, Merritt Patterson, Bobby Campo, Vanessa Bell, David Sakurai, Gary Cole and Will Graham. Brandon Roberts (TURN: Washington’s SpiesThe Woman in Black 2: Angel of DeathLittle Evil) has composed the film’s original music. Opening in limited release is the drama Lizzie directed by Craig William Macneill and starring Chloë Sevigny, Kristen Stewart, Jamey Sheridan, Fiona Shaw, Kim Dickens, Denis O’Hare and Jeff Perry. The film’s original music is composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, Mile 22). A soundtrack album is in the works. Also opening in limited release is the thriller Mandy co-written and directed by Panos Cosmatos and starring Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Ned Dennehy, Olwen Fouéré, Richard Brake and Bill Duke. Also opening in select theaters is the action thriller Final Score directed by Scott Mann and starring Dave Bautista, Pierce Brosnan, Ray Stevenson, Julian Cheung, Lara Peake, Alexandra Dinu and Ralph Brown. The film’s original music is composed by James Edward Barker (Lean on PeteMara) and Tim Despic (HeistPrecious Cargo). Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score. Also opening in select cities is the coming-of-age drama Where Hands Touch written and directed by Amma Asante and starring Amandla Stenberg, George MacKay, Abbie Cornish, Christopher Eccleston, Tom Goodman-Hill, Tom Sweet and Olivia Vinall. Anne Chmelewsky has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been released. The drama just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and is being released by Vertical Entertainment. Another limited release this week is the British drama The Children Act directed by Richard Eyre and starring Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci and Fionn Whitehead. The film’s original music is composed by Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in LoveQuillsCaptain Corelli’s MandolinBilly ElliotProof). Also opening in limited release is the romantic drama Bel Canto written and directed by Paul Weitz and starring Julianne Moore and Ken Watanabe. David Majzlin has composed the film’s original score. Renèe Fleming(The Shape of WaterThe Lord of the Rings: Return of the King) is featured as a vocalist. Decca Gold has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as pre-recorded Arias performed by Fleming. Also opening in select theaters is the sci-fi drama I Think We’re Alone Now directed by Reed Morano and starring Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning. The film’s original music is composed by Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s TaleBefore I FallDamnation) who previously scored Morano’s Meadowland. Another limited release this weekend is the action horror thriller Patient Zero directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky and starring Matt Smith, Natalie Dormer, John Bradley Agyness Deyn and Stanley Tucci. Also opening in select cities is the horror thriller Don’t Leave Home written and directed by Michael Tully and starring Anna Margaret Hollyman, Lalor Roddy, Helena Bereen, Davd McSavage and Karrie Fox. Opening in New York before expanding to more markets within the next couple of weeks is the heist thriller Museo (Museum) co-written and directed by Alonso Ruizpalacios and starring Gael García Bernal, Leonardo Ortizgris, Alfredo Castro, Lisa Owen, Bernardo Velasco, Ilse Salas, Leticia Bredice and Simon Russell Beale. Tomas Barreiro (GüerosPerros) has composed the film’s original score. Opening in select theaters while also premiering on Netflix today is the drama The Land of Steady Habits written and directed by Nicole Holofcener and starring Ben Mendelsohn, Edie Falco, Connie Britton and Thomas Mann. The film’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Affair, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said). No word on a soundtrack album. The drama just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and is also available on Netflix.
