Premiering tonight is the Syfy original movie Sharknado 5: Global Swarming directed by Anthony C. Ferrante and starring Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Jena Sims, Cassandra Scerbo, Masiela Lusha, Charo, Olivia Newton-John, Dan Fogler, Clay Aiken, Margaret Cho, Tony Hawk, Greg Louganis, Gilbert Gottfried, Fabio and Bret Michaels. Premiering on Wednesday, August 9, is Viaplay’s series Swedish Dicks created by the Viking Brothers, Andrew Lowery & Peter Settman and starring Peter Stormare & Johan Glans and featuring guest stars including Keanu Reeves, Margaret Cho, Eric Roberts, Anthony LaPaglia and Traci Lords. Anders Niska & Klas Wahl (Blackway, Farang) are composing the show’s original music. The comedy, which follows two unlicensed Swedish private investigators trying to make a living in L.A, will make its premiere in the U.S. on Pop.

Premiering tomorrow, June 12, is the Showtime docu-series The Putin Interviews directed by Oliver Stone who, alongside his longtime documentary producer Fernando Sulichin, interviewed the Russian president Vladimir Putin more than a dozen times over the course of two years for the project. Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Rome, Pollock, Monk, Carnivale, Appaloosa, Ugly Betty) has composed the original music for the 4-parter.
