MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age fantasy drama Wonderwell. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Tale of Despereaux, My Dog Skip, Tin Cup, Ladder 49, Tuck Everlasting) and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Late composer Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, The Straight Story) has contributed Violet’s Theme to the score. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 30 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Wonderwell is directed by Vlad Marsavin and stars Carrie Fisher, Rita Ora, Nell Tiger Free, Sebastian Croft and Kiera Milward.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the comedy No Hard Feelings directed by Gene Stupnitsky and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Andrew Barth Feldman, Matthew Broderick and Laura Benanti. The film’s original score is composed by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Where the Crawdads Sing, Moneyball, Onward) & Jessica Rose Weiss (Cinderella, Don’t Make Me Go, The Independent). Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as two songs from the movie today. Opening in a few hundred theaters today is the thriller God Is a Bullet directed by Nick Cassavetes and starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maika Monroe, Jamie Foxx, January Jones, Karl Glusman, Paul Johansson and David Thornton. Aaron Zigman (The Notebook, Bridge of Terabithia, Sex and the City, The Proposal, John Q) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music, including the Obi-Wan Theme composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark), the original score composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Journey’s End) and the Obi-Wan Theme adapted by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, My Dog Skip, Tuck Everlasting). The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on Monday, June 27 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.

Last night, Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) held its annual Film, TV & Visual Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Terence Blanchard was named BMI Icon in recognition of his significant contributions to the cinematic community. The composer who received his first Academy Award nomination earlier this year for his music for Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman and whose other scoring credits include Malcolm X, Inside Man and Red Tails was presented the award by the evening’s hosts, BMI Vice President, Film/TV Relations, Doreen Ringer-Ross and BMI President & CEO Mike O’Neill.

The composer whose film scoring credits include Malcolm X, Inside Man, 25th Hour and Red Tails has received his first Academy Award nomination earlier this year for his music for Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman. Past BMI Icon honorees include Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Alexandre Desplat, Rachel Portman, David Newman, Thomas Newman, Danny Elfman, Harry Gregson-Williams and John Williams, among many others.

Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the romantic comedy Destination Wedding. The album features the film’s original music composed by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, My Dog Skip, Ladder 49, Tin Cup, The Tale of Despereaux). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Destination Wedding is written and directed by Victor Levin and stars Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. The movie revolves around two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests who develop a mutual affection in spite of themselves.

William Ross has recently composed the music for the upcoming romantic comedy Destination Wedding. The film is written and directed by Vicor Levin (5 to 7, Survivor’s Remorse) and stars Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. The movie revolves around two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests who develop a mutual affection in spite of themselves. Gail Lyon (Stick It), Elizabeth Dell and Robert Jones (The Strangers: Prey at Night, Centurion) are producing the project.
