Momentum RLP Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie Away & Back. The album features the film’s original music composed by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Tales of Despereaux, Tin Cup, Ladder 49). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 10, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. William Ross has been hired to score the upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie Away & Back. The movie stars Jason Lee, Minka Kelly and Maggie Elizabeth Jones. Premiering on Tuesday, December 2, is the Disney/Pixar holiday special Toy Story That Time Forgot directed by Steve Purcell and featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Kristen Schaal, Kevin McKidd, Wallace Shawn, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles and Joan Cusack. Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Lost, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) who previously scored last year’s Toy Story of Terror, as well as Pixar’s The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up and Cars 2 has composed the special’s original music. The soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. One Christmas Eve is directed by Jay Russell who previously collaborated with Ross on such features as My Dog Skip, Ladder 49 and Tuck Everlasting. The movie stars Anne Heche as a recently-divorced mom who wants her two kids’ first Christmas without their father to be perfect.

William Ross and Jerome Leroy have recently composed the score for the upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame movie One Christmas Eve. The film is directed by Jay Russell (The Water Horse) and stars Anne Heche as a recently-divorced mom who wants her two kids’ first Christmas without their father to be perfect. Holly Goldberg Sloan (Made in America, Angels in the Outfield) has written the script. Paula Mazur (Nim’s Island, Corinna, Corinna), Brent Shields (Christmas in Conway, Remember Sunday) and Mitchell Kaplan are executive producing the project. Ross has previously collaborated with Russell on such features as My Dog Skip, Tuck Everlasting and Ladder 49.
‘Operation Change’ Vol. 2, 3 & 4 Soundtracks Announced
Momentum RLP Records will release three more soundtrack albums for the OWN docu-series Operation Change. The albums features selections of the original score from the show composed by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Tale of Despereaux, My Dog Skip) and Alex Kovacs. The Volume 2 album includes music from the episodesColombia, Tanzania & Lebanon and will be released digitally on October 21, 2014 (click here for the full details and audio clips). The Volume 3 soundtrack features the score from the episodes Malaysia, India & South Africa) and is set to be released on November 4 (click here for more information). The Volume 4 album includes music from the final two episodes Ethopia & Papua New Guinea and will be released on November 18 (the full details are available on the label’s website).

William Ross and Alex Kovacs are composing the music for the new OWN docu-series Operation Change. The show follows Bill & Tani Austin and their son Steven Sawalich from the Starkey Hearing Foundation, a global non-profit organization that gives free hearing aids to those in need, as they are joined by philanthropists and celebrities to tackle some of the most challenging issues plaguing our world today. The ten-part series features former President Bill Clinton, Sir Elton John, Sir Richard Branson, the Dalai Lama, Donna Karan, and Harry Connick, Jr. among others, each working to benefit a different region and local organization.
William Ross to Collaborate with Robby Krieger on Jim Morrison Movie ‘The Poet in Exile’
William Ross is set to collaborate with Robby Krieger, the guitarist of The Doors, and Pablo Manzarek, the son of Ray Manzarek, on the soundtrack for the upcoming drama The Poet in Exile. The film is written and directed by Tim Sullivan and will explore the urban legend that Jim Morrison is still alive. The movie is based on a novel written by Ray Manzarek, which suggests that Morrison staged his death in 1971 and later contacted Manzarek from his hiding place in the Seychelles Islands to embark on one last journey of rock ‘n’ roll rebellion. Harrison Ford is reportedly considered to play Manzarek. Sullivan is also producing the project for New Rebellion and Krieger serves as an executive producer.
