Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the World War II drama Greyhound. The album features the film’s original music composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, The Pacific, Supergirl, Everwood, Life As We Know It, Riverdale). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 10. Click here to stream/download the album. Greyhound is directed by Aaron Schneider and stars Tom Hanks (who also wrote the screenplay), Stephen Graham, Rob Morgan and Elisabeth Shuewhich. The movie is inspired by real events and revolves around a longtime Navy veteran who, as a first-time captain, is tasked with protecting a convoy of 37 ships carrying thousands of soldiers and much-needed supplies across the treacherous waters of the Atlantic during World War II.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime docu-series Outcry directed by Pat Kondelis. The show’s original music is composed by Hanan Townshend (Knights of Cup, To the Wonder, Semper Fi, The Vessel). The 5-parter examines the story of high school football star Greg Kelley who was arrested, convicted and jailed for sexual assault of a 4-year-old boy, and his supporters’ quest for truth and justice. Premiering on Wednesday, July 8 is the Australian limited series Stateless created by Cate Blanchett, Elise McCredie & Tony Ayres and starring Blanchett, Yvonne Strahovski, Dominic West and Jai Courtney. Cornel Wilczek (Glitch, These Final Hours, Nowhere Boys) has composed the show’s original music. The drama follows four strangers as they intersect at an Australian immigration detention center. The series premiered earlier this year in Australia on ABC and is making its U.S. debut on Netflix.

The album features the original music from the 5-parter composed by Emmy Award nominee Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, The Pacific, Everwood, Riverdale, The Keepers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes and Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Visible: Out on Television is directed and executive produced by Ryan White and investigates the importance of TV as an intimate medium that has shaped the American conscience, and how the LGBTQ movement has shaped television. The show is narrated by Janet Mock, Margaret Cho, Asia Kate Dillon, Neil Patrick Harris & Lena Waithe and combines archival footage with interviews with key players from the movement and the screen.

Premiering on Tuesday, February 11, is the ABC drama For Life created by Hank Steinberg and starring Nicholas Pinnock, Indira Varma, Joy Bryant, Mary Stuart Masterson, Boris McGiver, Glenn Fleshler, Dorian Missick, Tyla Harris and Timothy Busfield. The show’s original music is composed by Dustin O’Halloran (Lion, Transparent, Like Crazy, A Christmas Carol, The Art of Racing in the Rain). Blake Neely Scoring Ryan White’s ‘Assassins’
Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, You, Everwood, Supergirl, Riverdale) has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Assassins. The film is directed by Ryan White and centers on the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the half brother of the North Korean leader. The movie follows the trial of the two female assassins and probes the question whether the women were trained killers or innocent pawns of North Korea. White is also producing the Tripod Media production with Jessica Hargrave.

Soundtrack Album for ‘Riverdale’ Special Halloween Episode to Be Released
WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for tonight’s special Halloween episode of The CW drama Riverdale. The album features the original score from the episode composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, The Pacific, Everwood) and Sherri Chung (Batwoman, Blindspot). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 31 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released multiple soundtrack albums featuring the songs and score from the first three seasons. Riverdale is developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa based on the characters by Archie Comics and stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Marisol Nichols and Madelaine Petsch.

Blake Neely and Daniel James Chan are co-scoring the new ABC drama Emergence. The show is created by Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters (Agent Carter, Resurrection) and stars Allison Tolman, Alexa Swinton, Owain Yeoman, Ashley Aufderheide, Robert Bailey Jr., Zabryna Guevara, Donald Faison and Clancy Brown. The series follows a police chief who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident and the investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined.
