Decca Classics will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon anthology series Modern Love. The album features music from the show’s first season, including the opening title song Setting Sail written and performed by Gary Clark & show creator John Carney (Listen to the track after the jump), as well as songs by Goldfrapp, Regina Spektor, Nerina Pallot, Thomas Dydahl & Lera Lyn, Gaz Coombes & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 25 and will be available to download here. Modern Love is developed by Carney based on the New York Times column and weekly podcast and stars Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, Catherine Keener, Andy Garcia, Cristin Milioti, John Slattery, Olivia Cooke, Sofia Boutella, Brandon Victor Dixon, John Gallagher, Jr., Julia Garner, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr and Andrew Scott.

Anne Nikitin to Score BBC’s & Amazon’s ‘The Pale Horse’
Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic) has been tapped to score the upcoming BBC and Amazon limited series The Pale Horse. The 2-parter is developed by Sarah Phelps (The ABC Murders, And Then There Were None) and stars Rufus Sewell, Kaya Scodelario, Bertie Carvel, Sean Pertwee, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Poppy Gilbert, Madeleine Bowyer, Ellen Robertson, Rita Tushingham, Sheila Atim and Kathy Kiera Clarke. The series is based on the novel of the same title by Agathan Christie and follows a man whose investigation into the mystery of a list of names found on a dead woman leads him to a English village, Much Deeping, the home of a trio of rumored witches.
Soundtrack Album for Telemundo/Amazon’s ‘Falco’ to Be Released
Plaza Mayor Company will release the first soundtrack album for the TV series Falco. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Andrés Sánchez & Gus Reyes (El Chapo, Los Espookys, Tijuana). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 25, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Falco is based the German procedural The Last Cop and stars Michel Brown, Hoze Meléndez, Marina de Tavira, Enrique Arreola, Karina Gidi and Danae Reynaud. The series follows a detective who wakes up after being in a coma for 20 years and is opening his eyes to a vastly unfamiliar world.

Premiering tonight is the Discovery docu-series Why We Hate directed by Geeta Gandbhir & Sam Pollard and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Alex Gibney & Frank Marshall. The show’s original music is composed by Laura Karpman (Underground, Paris Can Wait, Step, Taken, Black Nativity). Premiering on Tuesday, October 15, is the USA original series Treadstone developed by Tim Kring based on the Bourne movies and starring Jeremy Irvine, Michelle Forbes, Patrick Fugit, Michael Gaston, Shruti Haasan, Hyo Joo Han, Tess Haubrich and Tracy Ifeachor. Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, Legion) and Jordan Gagne (The Rookie) are composing the show’s original music and Russo has also composed the main title theme. Lynda Kay’s Songs from ‘Goliath’ Season 3 Released
Singer/songwriter Lynda Kay has recorded a number of songs for the new season of the Amazon original series Goliath. Available now to stream and download are her covers of Roy Orbison’s In Dreams and Crying, and Kenny Rogers and the First Edition’s Just Dropped in (To See What Condition My Condition Was In). Kay also appears in several episodes of the third season of the show created by David E. Kelley & Jonathan Shapiro and starring Billy Bob Thornton, Nina Arianda, Tania Raymonde, Diana Hopper, Ana de la Reguera,Julie Brister and Diana Hopper, as well as guest stars Dennis Quaid, Amy Brenneman, Beau Bridges, Griffin Dunne, Graham Greene and Illeana Douglas.
Soundtrack Album for ‘Transparent’ Musical Series Finale to Be Released
Decca Gold will release a soundtrack album for the series finale of the Amazon original series Transparent. The album features the songs from the two-hour movie musical written by Faith Soloway and performed by cast members including Amy Landecker, Gaby Hoffmann, Jay Duplass, Judith Light, Erik Liberman, Jo Lampert, Lesli Margherita, Shakina Nayfack, Alexandra Billings, Kathryn Hahn & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 27 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to come out on November 15 and is available to order here. Transparent Musicale Finale directed by show creator Jill Soloway (and scored by Dustin O’Halloran & Bryan Senti) will premiere on September 27 exclusively on Amazon Prime.
Philip Glass & Paul Leonard-Morgan Scoring Amazon’s ‘Tales from the Loop’
Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Naqoyqatsi) and Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Wormwood) are teaming up to score the upcoming Amazon original series Tales from the Loop. The sci-fi drama based is developed by Nathaniel Halpern (Legion) based on the art of Simon Stålenhag. Rebecca Hall has been cast as the female lead of the show, which explores the town and people who live above “The Loop,” a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. Halpern is also executive producing Fox 21 Television Studios production with Mark Romanek (Never Let Me Go, One Hour Photo), Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes, Cloverfield), Adam Kassan and Rafi Crohn (The Passage), Mattias Montero, Samantha Taylor Pickett, Adam Berg and Stålenhag.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Undone. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Amie Doherty (Here and Now, Marooned). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 13 and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Undone is created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg & Kate Purdy and features the voice talent of Rosa Salazar, Bob Odenkirk, Angelique Cabral, Constance Marie, Siddharth Dhananjay and Daveed Diggs. The animated series centers on a woman who discovers she has a new relationship with time after surviving a car accident that almost killed her.

The show’s original music is composed by Emily Rice. The sci-fi thriller, which follows a group of strangers who fight to survive harsh realities – and the island that traps them stream, will be available to stream on Thursday exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering on Friday, September 13, is the Netflix original series Unbelievable developed by Susannah Grant, Michael Chabon & Ayelet Waldman and starring Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever.
