Labeleh Records has released a soundtrack album for the Israeli TV series The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Daniel Salomon (The Secrets). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem is created by Shlomo Mashiach, Ester Namdar Tamam & Oded Davidof and stars Michael Aloni, Hila Saada, Swell Ariel Or, Irit Kaplan, Mali Levi, Israel Ogalbo and Eli Steen. The period drama is set in 1919 Jerusalem and tells the story of a housecleaner who weds a shopkeeper who loves another woman, a choice that impacts her dynamic with her eldest daughter for decades. Premiering tomorrow, May 23, is the Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton. The show’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, Dune), Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve. Zimmer also co-wrote the project’s theme with ndrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. Premiering on Friday, May 27, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi directed by Deborah Chow and starring Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rupert Friend, Sung Kang and Benny Safdie. John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark) has written a new theme for the title character and Natalie Holt (Loki, Journey’s End, Knightfall, Herself, Beecham House) has composed the original score. Edizioni Curci has released a soundtrack album for the Italian mini-series Exterior Night (Esterno Notte). The album features the show’s original music composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso. Exterior Night is directed by Marco Bellocchio and stars Fabrizio Gifuni, Margherita Buy, Toni Servillo, Fausto Russo Alesi, Daniela Marra and Gabriel Montesi. Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, The King’s Man, Money Monster, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) has composed the original music for the upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Baymax!. The show is created by Don Hall (Raya and the Last Dragon, Winnie the Pooh) based on his 2014 feature Big Hero 6 (scored by Henry Jackman) and stars Scott Adsit as the voice of the title character, as well as Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Lilimar, Emily Kuroda, Zeno Robinson and Jaboukie Young-White.
