The details of the final four soundtrack albums for the Netflix documentary series Life on Our Planet have been revealed. Available to stream/download now are the Chapter 1-4 soundtracks (click here for the details of each album), as well as the soundtracks for Chapter 5 (In the Shadows of Giants), Chapter 6 (Out of the Ashes), Chapter 7 (Inheriting the Earth) and Chapter 8 (Age of Ice and Fire) featuring music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation & Dead Reckoning, Black Adam, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, The Wheel of Time). Faber Music will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Boiling Point. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Aaron May & David Ridley (Malpractice, Villain, Arsène Wenger: Invincible) who previously scored the 2021 feature of the same title. The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Monday, October 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Boiling Point is created by Philip Barantini, James Cummings & Stephen Graham, directed by Barantini & Mounia Akl and stars Vinette Robinson, Graham himself, Hannah Walters, Daniel Larkari, Ahmed Malek, Stephen McMillan, Shaun Fagan and Taz Skylar. Following last week’s release of the “suites & themes” album, Netflix Music will release eight more soundtracks for the streamer’s original documentary series Life on Our Planet. The albums feature the original score from all eight episodes of the show composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, His Dark Materials, The LEGO Batman Movie, Top Gun: Maverick) and recorded with the Royal National Orchestra. Paramount Music will release a new soundtrack album for the 1997 romantic comedy The Beautician and the Beast directed by Ken Kwapis and starring Fran Drescher, Timothy Dalton, Ian McNeice, Lisa Jakub and Patrick Malahide. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning & Fallout, Black Adam, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick) has teamed up with Michael Bitton (who has worked with Balfe on numerous projects over the last couple of years) to score the new British Paramount+ original series The Burning Girls. The show is developed by Hans Rosenfeldt (The Bridge) based on novel of the same name by C.J. Tudor and stars Samantha Morton, Ruby Stokes, Rupert Graves, Conrad Khan and David Dawson. CMA Records has announced Love Actually – The Love Themes for Orchestra, a new album featuring 15 tracks from the score for Richard Curtis’ 2003 romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy and Rowan Atkinson. Grammy Award winner Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!The Great Gatsby, Romeo + Juliet, The Incredible HulkRayFar from the Madding Crowd) has revisited his score to compose fuller versions of his score cues, which have been newly reworked, adapted and extended by the composer and recorded with the Budapest Art Orchestra, conducted by Peter Pejtsik. The full details of the soundtrack album for Martin Scorsese’s epic western crime saga Killers of the Flower Moon have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robbie Robertson (The Color of Money, The Irishman, Jimmy Hollywood). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 20 by Sony Masterworks and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A CD version is set to come out on December 8 (click here to order) and a vinyl edition the following week, December 15 (click here to pre-order) . Killers of the Flower Moon is co-written and directed by Scorsese and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Tantoo Cardinal, Brendan Fraser, JaNae Collins, Cara Jade Myers, Jillian Dion, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson.
